Chapter 48: Stuck On You

Jennie POV

After Lisa left me alone here in her office, my plan was to follow her, but I feel weak about what she did. I am still lying down on this sofa and resting my body.

I am still hoping for the best that she will not hurt Tae too much. And honestly, I am still overwhelmed with this setup. How can a first-year college student like her get a position at Kim's company?

When I composed myself and regained my strength, I immediately arranged all the things she had scattered here in the office. I gathered the files on the floor. But while I was arranging her things, I got curious when I saw my name on a file document. I got the paper and read what this was all about, and upon reading the document, it was all about the property of the lot; the mansion was named and owned by me. And the date was just yesterday. How did this happen?

Shit! Is this even real? I don't know how to react. My heart is beating so fast. I don't even have this kind of money to provide this kind of property or even a mansion. Then this design of the mansion same with Lisa's design but was little changed. There is now a room for Hanni and for my mom. What is this?

"Aaahhh, Lisa always makes me overthink."

I feel impatient. I need to talk to her. But she said I needed to wait for her to come back. I don't have a choice but to stay, clean, and arrange her office while waiting on her.

I fix her working table and set up her computer.

"Even her desktop files are not even organized. How does she work like this?".

There are many names that I am not familiar with. I want to organize this thing, but I am thinking Lisa. She will get confused about where she will get the file, so I plan to leave it like this.
I want to turn away from her computer, but I got curious again when I saw the name of my stepfather. The file name is "FUCK JIYONG," so, to my disgust, I opened the file. But I feel disappointed when it has a password.

"Really, Lisa, when do you start using the password?" which means this is very confidential. I feel nervous. What is this file all about?

I want to know it, so I try to guess her password. But I am having a hard time. I took so long and I feel so frustrated.
I feel impatient now, and until now, Lisa was not here. It's already night.
I feel sleepy and exhausted again. I try to take a nap when I hear a knock from the door of her office.

I excitedly opened it.

J: Why you took so lo..

I didn't finish what I was about to say.

"Good evening".

I feel ashamed when I see a tall man greeting and smiling at me. I smile at him too. He looks smart and rich. Maybe he looks like part of the higher position here in the company.

J: Good evening.

"I am just looking for Ms. Manoban.".

J: Sorry, sir, but Ms. Manoban is not here.

"Really? That's impossible; she doesn't have a plan to leave this office."

J: What do you mean, sir?

This man didn't answer my question directly. He walks so fast and looks like he is checking Lisa's office, but I am so shocked. He opens the only door here inside the office, and there I am surprised to see a small bedroom and some of Lisa's clothes. So Lisa is staying here.

"You're telling me the truth. So she went outside for the first time."

I got curious about this man's behavior toward Lisa. What does he really want? He even invaded Lisa's privacy.
