Lisa POV

After I confessed the thing to my mother-in-law. She didn't react or say anything; she just continued dragging Jennie inside the car. I don't want to see my wife like that. She is fragile and needs more rest. I am about to follow them, but my mother holds my shoulder and restrains me from taking another step.

L: What, Ma?

A: Go inside. We need to talk, Lala.

I go inside. I know what will be the next thing that happens right now-the nagging of my mother. She is just looking at me seriously, and she doesn't know how to start, so I take the initiative to start the conversation.

L: Well, I disobeyed you again.
