Jennie POV

After Lisa delivered me at home, I locked myself up in my room until the rest of the night. I don't know what possible thing will happen tomorrow when I wake up. My body is so exhausted, but my heart feels so alive. This is the best birthday I ever had. This is all because of my annoying duck. My happiness didn't die down until I fell into a good sleep while hugging the robot Lisa gave me.

I woke up to the noise of my alarm.  Today has no classes, and I am bound to be here and feel my parents presence.
I get up because I have a feeling that they are waiting for me outside this room. I compose myself and immediately go outside of my room.

I was walking down our stairs, but I didn't see my parents in our living room. Thankfully, they are busy today. I feel relieved. But when I go to the kitchen, I see Tae drinking coffee while looking at the picture; he is holding it so tight, and he looks raging.

But when he sees me, he smiles at me and kisses my cheek.

T: Good morning, babe.

J: What are you doing here early in the morning, Tae?

T: Why? Did I need to make a request to see my fiancee? By the way, you forgot my present to you.

He hands me the gift.

J: Tae, I already told you everything. Why are you still doing this?

T: What do you mean? I don't remember anything, Jennie. And why did you leave me alone at your party? Your parents don't have any idea where you went.

J: Didn't Jisoo tell you?

T: Jisoo? No, she didn't, because until now she was not home.

J: Tae, I was with Lisa last night.

Tae looks at me, and I know his heart becomes heavy after I said that.

T: Ok! So my gut was right that you were with her. Maybe that's why there was a flying duck at the event last night.

J: After you are done drinking your coffee, can we talk?

T: About what?

J: About us. Because it looks like you still didn't understand what I wanted.

He wants to say something, but I immediately go back to my bedroom and try to gain the confidence and strength to face him again.

When I am ready to talk to him, I go to his direction. I see him sitting calmly in our living room. I grabbed her hand and went to our hangout place when we were kids.

T: What are we doing here?

Tae is smiling. He looks so happy and is reminiscing about everything when we were kids.

J: I brought you here because this place reminds me of the first time you saw me crying.

T: Yes, I remembered that. That was the time when your mom was so angry at you because you didn't perfect all your exams.

J: But I lied to you, Tae. That's not the reason why I cried that time.

Tae, stop walking and look at me seriously.

T: Really? And what's the reason?

J: That day, I cried so much, not because of my score but because I cheated on my exam.

T: Really? Why didn't you tell me that thing?

J: Because I am not being honest with you all the time.

T: Well, you know that I am ok with that, Jennie. I never judged you. You have a deep reason.

J: Tae, listen to me! Right now, I just want to be fair, and you are restraining me from being honest with you this time.
