Taehyung POV

I am sitting here alone at the public park. And everyone here is looking at me because I have many bruises on my face and on my body. I can't contain my hatred inside my heart. My father hurt me physically. He bit my body and threw many things at me. My mom tries to save me from my father's wrath. She helped me escape and ran away from the house. I didn't have a chance to compose myself. I didn't have my car with me.

I am not aware that I am crying right now. Fuck my life! During my sobbing, I am bowing my head, and there is a hand offering me a handkerchief.

I look up to the stranger. I am so shocked to encounter Lisa's mother.

A: Use this; your shirt is so dirty. You should wipe your face with a clean cloth. Your wound might be infected.

I ignore her. And try to walk away from her.

A: Hey, hey, where are you going? I said you needed this thing.

T: Stop pestering me! I don't need your pity.

A: I didn't say I pity you. I am concerned with what your mother may feel. If your mother will see you like that, she will cry at your state.

I didn't mind her. But she pushed me to sit again.

A: Don't move! After I medicate your wound, you can go now.

T: I didn't ask you to do this thing.

A: Yes, but I wanted to do it. Don't worry, I will not ask anything from you.

I sit and let her medicate me. I am weak physically. She persuaded me to stay because she's so persistent. I feel confused when she looks so worried about my state. She didn't know me at all.

A: What happened to you? Are you a gang leader?

T: It's none of your business.

A: Hahaha, you know what? My daughter has had many troubles, but I rarely see her defeated in a fight. You look like you are not a professional fighter.

T: Are you mocking me? I didn't do trouble. My father hurt me.

After I said that, She stopped medicating me and looked at me seriously.

T: What? Why are you crying?

I see her crying. She hugs me and caresses my back. Fuck! I feel stuck with what she's doing.

T: Hey, I can't breathe.

A: What's the reason your father did that?

I felt nervous again after she asked me that thing.

T: I did wrong.

A: Did you say sorry?

T: Yes, I did. I don't get him. He was always mad at me. He wasn't proud of anything I was doing. He always looks at my twin sister, but not at me. I want to rebel.

A: Well, some parents are like that. Maybe you are just misunderstood. Maybe you need to find what you are good at. Don't follow the majority; follow what you really want. Your parents will see you as you are.

T: What do you mean?

A: Don't rebel; just go on with your life. I think my daughter is the same age as you. She was even physically hurt by my husband. She was diagnosed with ADHD; we misunderstood her when she was a child. She's so hyper and always gets in trouble. Many misunderstood her, but I didn't stop to pursue her to see what was special about her. And from that, I learned: That's why she's misunderstood because she is unique from others. And everyone has uniqueness. You need to see it for yourself.
