Sapnap POV.

“Thank you so much for the photo.” The taller of the two female demons who I had immediately forgotten the name of grinned. “I can’t wait to show all of my friends this!”
“It was a pleasure to meet you.” Dream grinned. “Just please don’t go telling all your friends about the fact we have humans yet, we don’t wanna scare them.”

“Don’t worry, we won’t.” The shorter demon told us before pulling her friend away. The moment they were gone we let out a collective sigh.
“They were nice, but man they talk a lot.” Dream let out an exhausted chuckle.

“Of course they did. They just met the two coolest youtubers in existence.” I responded. “Plus, they are greed demons. Known for being chatty, just look at Skeppy.” The blond nodded, since we’d often be trapped in conversations upwards of fifteen minutes with him over some absurdly simple topic. “Wait… where did Karl and George go?”

“I swear I saw them looking at shirts just a few minutes ago.” Dream said, his gaze tracing along the aisles. I was doing the same thing and neither of us could spot them.
“Shit.” I muttered as I began heading to the sliding glass doors, knowing that they likely made a run for it while we were distracted.

Dream followed after me and we ran onto the street. I approached the first person that I saw. A female demon carrying a small child in her arms. “Excuse me,” I spoke gently as I approached her. Her eyes immediately flared up to a bright red colour and she pulled her kid closer out of instinct. Most likely a fellow wrath demon. “Have you seen two humans around recently?”

“Two humans?” She repeated questioningly. “Not on their own. I’ve seen quite a few with other demons though.” I nodded and began walking off with Dream giving her a brief ‘thanks’ as he followed after me.

The next few demons we asked were just the same, and most of the humans who were accompanying demons were too shy to talk to us. We reached the end of the road before I looked over at my best friend. “How far do you think they could have gotten in like fifteen minutes? How fast are humans?” The blond asked.

“I’m not sure.” I replied. “But they are exhausted and injured, so they probably won’t be at full speed.” His gaze was darting between each of the shop windows. “However adrenaline does give humans a lot of strength sometimes.”
“Perhaps we should call someone and report them missing.” He suggested.

“How about I call Bad and Skeppy?” I suggested in response. “They probably have dealt with hundreds of runaways.” Dream simply nodded at my idea.
He pulled out his phone and also went to contacts. “I can message some other guys and see if they could help us look for them too.”

If we had wanted, there were plenty of organisations which caught runaway humans, however if they did catch them we’d have to pay a large fee and we’d have to do a ton of paperwork. The thought of paperwork made me scoff. I mean, imagine being a powerful demon and spending your day sitting at a desk filling out paperwork.

Technoblade (Oh my God) POV.
A few hours later

“The only time we’ve been in town in a month and we spend it having to search for two humans those idiots lost!” I rolled my eyes, completely used to Tommy’s childish outbursts.
“Grow up,” Philza instructed firmly. “They are our friends and they need help. Not all humans are as docile as Tubbo was when we got him.”

I could have probably found these two missing humans on my own without these three idiots I was stuck with. However, Dream had thought it would be logical to search for them in groups, even if the group was 75% idiot. Okay I lied, 50% idiot. Philza was alright, but Tommy and Wilbur both were not.

While most of the other ‘search parties’ that the two desperate demons set up were looking down streets, I had decided it would be much smarter to search through alleyways. If I was a scared human that would be the first place I hid. Although I was not a scared human, and if I was a human I would be an ass kicking one and not a cowardly one.

“I’m still annoyed that Dream and Sapnap got humans and hadn’t introduced us yet.” Wilbur huffed out. “I thought we were friends.”
“They just got them a few weeks ago.” Philza reminded us all. “They probably still weren’t adjusted. Not all of them are as friendly as Tubbo is.”

Tubbo was a human who Philza had effectively adopted as a child, unlike most other demons who used humans as either pets or servants. We all were fine with treating him like a brother, except for Tommy who treated him differently since they were best friends. He’d also made friends with the neighbour’s kid, a sloth demon called Ranboo.

As we continued walking I heard a noise, stopping to try and hear it again, but there was nothing else. My gaze drifted around the alleyway for a search as to where the sound had come from. It wasn’t a natural noise like a bird or someone accidently kicking a stone, it sounded somewhat like a cough.

My eyes narrowed as I found a place where it could have come from. There was a gap between a dumpster which was wide enough for a body to wedge itself in, provided that the body belonged to someone small enough. Being slow and cautious, since it could be a demon planning to ambush us, I approached.

When I reached the brick wall which the dumpster was pressed against. Tucked up next to each other were two small humans, both seeming almost asleep. I tried not to wake them, knowing that it would make it a lot more difficult if they were awake and screaming, and kicking, and biting.

I motioned the three other demons over and wordlessly instructed them to help me move the dumpster. Tommy did nothing to actually help except stand there and give us a thumbs up in support so myself, Wilbur, and Philza had to pull it away from the wall.

The two humans jolted awake as they sensed the protection of the dumpster moving away and quickly looked around to see the four of us effectively trapping them. Their eyes widened and they both decided to make a run for it, running in my direction (that was a stupid move). As they attempted to pass me I effortlessly lifted them up and they both screamed loudly.
