Today is Halloween and I love Halloween. I'm not really dressing up but Nova is dressing up as a pumpkin and she is going to look so cute.
Obviously, we can't really do much because of covid rules but we are still celebrating Halloween. I can't wait for Nova to be older and to take her trick-or-treating.
I woke up to the sound of Nova crying, I got out of bed and walked over to her crib, then I picked her up. I held her against my chest so her head was on my shoulder and I started walking around my room to calm her down.
I could smell that she had pooped so I got the changing mat, put it on my bed and placed her on it. I unbuttoned the button at the top of her onesie and then unzipped it. I took her dirty diaper off and then put a new one on. I zipped her onesie back up and then buttoned the button.

Now she is in a new, clean diaper, I got back into my bed and turned her to her side so I could breastfeed her. While she was breast feeding, I pumped my other boob because it felt like it was about to explode.
She started playing with my hair but then that ended up with her pulling my hair so I took it out of her hands. I went on my phone while she was eating to check my socials and if I had any texts or emails.
After around 10 minutes, Nova unlatched so I put her on my shoulder to burp her. I got out of bed so I could I put Nova in her bouncer so I could put the milk that I pumped into a plastic bag and put in the freezer.
Once I did that, I put 2 slices of bread into the toaster and when that was toasting, I watched Nova bounce around. Shark was interested so he walked up to her but got scared when she tried to touch him and backed away from her.
"Morning Billie." I heard mom say when she walked into the kitchen.
"Morning mom." I replied with a smile. She walked up to Nova and bent down so she could say hello to her.
"And good morning to you sweetheart." Mom said with a baby voice which made Nova giggle. "Do you want some coffee Billie?"
"Umm, yes please." I answered her. She got two mugs out so she could make out coffees. While she was making the coffee, my toast popped so I put some jam on it and ate it.
"I cant wait to see her in her pumpkin costume." Mom said, handing me my cup of coffee as she lent against the counter to watch Nova.
"I know, she looks so cute in it." I smile at the thought of Nova in the costume.
Nova started doing grabby hands at me so I put my coffee on the counter then walked over to her bouncer and picked her up. I kissed her cheek and sorted out her hair because it was a mess from sleeping.
"Morning Billie." Dad said when he walked into the kitchen. He walked over to me and kissed mine and Nova's cheeks.
"Morning Dad." I replied to him. Nova did grabby hands to him so he took her off of me and kissed her temple.
