Unexpected News (revamp)

Beach day & first steps (July 2021)

"Oh good morning angel!" I squealed when I walked into Nova's room to see her jumping up and down in her crib while holding onto the bars.

I picked her up and kissed her temple. She looked at me and pointed at her lips so I kissed her lips which made her giggle. I laughed then walked out of her room. I placed her in her high chair in the kitchen then put some dry cereal on her tray. I had some fruit and then placed some on her tray.

I dragged her high chair closer to the couch before I sat down on it. I put on tangled since that's her favourite movie at the moment. Once we were finished eating, I picked her up and then cleaned her sticky cheeks and hands with a baby wipe. I took her to her bedroom and then placed her on the floor.

"No, I got to get you dressed silly girl." I chuckled when I walked her away from her chest of toys that she tried to get into.

I took her pyjama shorts off followed by her diaper since that is the only thing she's wearing. I changed her diaper and then put a white sundress with little sunflowers on. I brushed her hair and then kissed her cheek.

"You look so cute!" I giggled while tickling her which made her laugh.

She screamed while laughing hysterically, I stopped so she could catch her break and when she did, I started tickling her again. I stopped and then picked her up from lying down on the floor. She crawled over to her toys and started pulling some out from the chest.

I ran into my room to get dressed, once I got dressed I did my skincare and then brushed my hair. I walked into Nova's room to see her dumping out all of her toys all over her floor.

"Baby, you made a mess." I said when I walked in. She turned her head to look at me and giggled. "Let's get this cleaned up then."

I tidied up her toys and she occasionally helped me. I picked her up once all of her toys were tidied and then took her to the kitchen. I got the diaper bag from the kitchen table and put some of Nova's snacks into it. I placed her on the floor and she crawled over to her walker.

While I was putting diapers and fresh clothes into the diaper bag, I heard a crash so I ran into the living room from her bedroom to see her next to the step and her walker on the floor down the step.

"Oh no Nova, did you push your walker down the step?" I chuckled in relief and she giggled. I picked her up from the floor then picked up her walker and walked into her bedroom.

I placed her down on the floor and she held onto the bar then stood up. I watched her walked around and cheered her on. She walked up to me and then held onto my leg.

"Can you walk?" I asked her, I held onto her hands and then tried to help her walk. She took one step and then fell over. "Uh oh." I said when I picked her up and kissed her cheek.

I stood up and then grabbed the diaper bag. I walked into my room to get a towel, my bathing suit and some spear clothes because we're going to Finneas and Claudia's beach house. I packed my stuff in my backpack then walked out.

I got shark ready then got the bags before I left the house. I put the bags into the car then got shark and Nova into the car. I ran to the house and checked around to see if I had forgotten anything and saw Nova's teddy and blanket in her crib. I ran to the front door and locked the door before I got into the car.

I gave Nova her teddy and blanket along with a book and her bad guy doll. I started to drive to Finneas and Claudia's house and then when I got there, I got Nova and Shark out before walking into the house.

"Nova!" Finneas shouted when he walked up to us. He took Nova off of me and then he wrapped his arms around me. "You ready for the beach? Are you ready?" Finneas chuckled while bouncing her in his hip.
