Unexpected News (revamp)

Nova's 5th birthday (June 2025)

It's the day before Nova's birthday and Jesse and I are decorating for it. I was blowing up balloons while he put up the bunting. It's going to be fairy themed because she loves fairies. She's having her friends from dance and homeschool clubs along with mom, dad Finneas and Claudia and some of my friends.

"We should probably cover the pool." Jesse said pointing at the pool outside.

"The pool does look really nice though." I smirked at him. He smirked back then we went into our room to get changed into our swim wear.

"My tits don't fit in this." I said when I tried to shove my pregnancy tits into the bikini bra. Jesse looked over and then laughed because my boobs are actually spilling out, i just rolled my eyes.

We got some towels then quietly went out to the pool. Jesse held my hand as I stepped in and then I wrapped my arms around him while he placed his hands on my bump.

"My baby's turning 5." I said against Jesse's chest. "I remember when she was born like it was yesterday."

"She's growing up too fast." Jesse said, I looked up at him and kissed him.

"I don't want her to grow up." I said when I put my head back on his chest.

"I know, me neither." He sighed then kissed my head.

We played in the pool and then got out because it was getting late. He wrapped a towel around me and then we walked in and then got dressed once we were dried. I got into bed and cuddled up to Jesse.

"Tomorrow we're going to have a 5 year old." I sighed into his arm as he big spooned me.

"I know, she's getting so big now." He said then kissed my neck. "Okay, go to sleep because you're going to be tired tomorrow."

"Okay, goodnight." I smiled then kissed him before turned off the lights and went to sleep.

8:20 am

"Billie, come on wake up." Jesse whispered when he shook my awake. "Come on it's Nova's birthday."

"Brush your teeth then wake me up." I said into my pregnancy pillow. He laughed then walked into the bathroom while I rested my eyes a little longer.

"Okay now get up." He said when he finished brushing his teeth. I got up then we walked into Nova's room.

"Good morning birthday girl!" I squealed when we walked in and I woke Nova up. "There's my 5 year old!"

"I'm 5 mama!" She said when she hugged me.

"I can't believe you're 5 today!" I squealed when I kissed her cheek. "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you mama." She smiled then hugged Jesse.

"Happy birthday Nova." He said when he kissed her cheek.

"Thank you daddy." She smiled then we went into the kitchen.

I heard Arlo so I walked into his room and got him. I put him in his high chair then we started making pancakes for breakfast.

"You ready?" Jesse asked when he was about to flip the pancake.

"Yes!" Nova jumped and giggled. "Flip it!"

Jesse flipped the pancake and we all cheered. I kissed his cheek and then he dished them up. He put extra syrup on Nova's before giving it to her. I cut up some pancake for Arlo before I sat down at the table to eat.

"These are yummy!" Nova giggled with a mouthful of pancake.

"Are they?" I giggled and she nodded.

Once we had finished eating, Nova and I walked into her room to get her dressed.
