Unexpected News (revamp)

Twins Birth pt 1 (August 2025)

"Right kids time for bed!" I said when I stood up when inside out finished. Nova jumped up from the couch then started to walk to her room and Arlo followed.

I stood up and followed the kids to Nova's room. Nova was already dressed in her pyjamas, aka her pyjamas shorts and no top. She got a book from
her book shelf and jumped into her bed. I got into bed with her and she wrapped her arms around my bump.

"Once upon a time there was a princess..." I started reading from the book. Nova is learning how to read so she was trying to read from the book.

Arlo ran in and jumped onto the bed. Jesse walked in and sat on the foot of the bed, while leaning on the wall. Arlo crawled over and sat in my lap. I started reading again until I got a cramp in my lower abdomen.

"Oww, fuck." I said when I leaned over and held my bump.

"You okay?" Jesse asked when he sat up. I nodded and breathed out to try and relive the pain. "Is it a contraction?" He asked and I shrugged. 

"I'm okay." I smiled as I sat back then continued reading.

When I finished reading, I got up and tucked Nova into bed. We walked into Arlo's room and placed him in his crib. I kissed him on the cheek then left his room. When I left, I felt the same pain which made me bend over.

"Oww." I whined when I bent over. Jesse rubbed my back and I wrapped his arms around his neck to support myself. "Ooh that hurts." I exhaled.

"Guess we're having twins today." He chuckled and so did I.

"Better not be false contractions again," referring to the false contractions I had the week before "I want these babies out." I said when we walked into our bedroom.

I got changed into one of Jesse's shirts and his boxers then walked into the bathroom. I started washing my face until I got another contraction. Jesse walked in because he could hear me moaning in pain. He massaged my hips together and moved up my back.

"This labor is going to be painful." I said when I stood up straight. Jesse pulled me into a hug and kissed my cheek.

He put his hand up my top and rubbed my bump. I could feel one of the babies kick which made us pull out of the hug. He pulled my top up and kissed my bare bump on both side. He kissed me on the lips and then we walked out of the bathroom.

I laid in bed and cuddled up to my pregnancy pillow. Jesse got into bed and we watched netflix until I got a contraction. I started ticing so Jesse got the essential oils from my bedside table to help.

"I know this is scary but I try and calm down or you're going to have a tic attack." He said when he pulled me into his lap. I sighed and hugged him.

"Are we ready to have twins?" I asked him into his neck.

"I don't know but can't really go back now." He said and I nodded to agree.

"I'm scared Jesse." I admitted and he hugged me tighter. "I'm really scared." I said getting teary.

"Billie, it's okay, everything is going to be okay." He said, drawing shapes on my back. "We're going to be okay."

"I'm just scared about after, like what happened with Nova and Arlo. We're going to have two newborns and a one year old for fuck sake." I cried into his chest.

"We will be okay, we have help with your parents and Finneas and Claudia. We will be okay Billie and we can do this." He said, cupping my face in his hands. "I love you Billie." he smiled
