Where we can be something more,
Something greater,
Something worthier.

Where we can be kings and queens.
Kings and queens of Narnia,
Of Gondor,
Of Elfhame.
Come away with me
Where we can be sparkly vampires,
Cutthroat creatures,
Battle royals awaiting.
Come away with me
Where we can fall in love at my childhood lake house,
Where I ran away from you seven years ago
Because I was afraid.
Come away with me
Where we can be heroes:
Clashing swords,
Riding dragons,
Saving the side characters and comic relief.
Come away with me
Where we can be villains:
Morally gray,
Disarmingly witty,
A dagger in each hand.
Come away with me
Where we can be somebodies,
Anybodies,
Nobilities,
Part of the stories we loved
And whose pages we carry alongside us today.
