Her mother showed no reaction when she told her she would be repeating the grade,

She was putting on her very expensive bracelets and gold earrings while giving haerin a condescending look,

For her mother, it was just another year paying for her college,

a minimal expense compared to her lavish weekly whims,

it was a wonderful way to keep the burden of her daughter occupied with her during the day,

to get her away from home so she could meet up with some of her regular lovers.

And haerin wasn't surprised, she was lucky not to be admitted to some military school far from civilization.

Haerin never cared about her studies, she just wanted to come of age to get out of her house,

away from all the pomp and unnecessary luxuries with which her family substituted the happiness and affection of a conventional home.

Haerin would rather live under a bridge than in that mansion where she felt like a part of the furniture.

The first day of the new term arrived, and she wouldn't even have considered getting out of bed,

except that her father was coming home a couple of hours later, she reluctantly got ready and walked towards the institute dragging her feet.

This year she would do it without the driver, she wanted to get used to living without comforts as soon as possible,

Six months, six more months, and coming of age would bring her the freedom she craved.

As she entered the building, the deafening outpouring teenagers reuniting hit her.

Those young people seemed so happy, some melted into endless hugs while others smiled as they wanted to tear their cheeks apart.

Haerin grimaced, no one would go near her, her only friend had already finished her stay in this jail,

And her fame preceded her too much to make new friends, wherever she passed, it only took one of her dark glares to get people out of her way.

Nobody wanted fights with haerin, she wasn't famous for her scandals, but her penetrating honey-colored pupils,

and her expressionless face were enough to make anyone's blood run cold.

They had no reason to fear her, and yet they all turned away from her.

Kang was rotten inside and out, her cruel eyes are nothing more than a reflection of her insides.

She didn't care about anyone or anything apart from herself, at least it was like that, until she saw her for the first time.

Haerin was an alpha, everyone knew that she would present herself as such as soon as she was born.

She was a powerful alpha, she would have been the perfect alpha, any omega's dream,

if she had taken even the slightest interest in finding a mate. But the brunette was not a good alpha,

She intimidated the omegas and never let them get close to her, she never felt capable of loving anyone minimally.

She didn't care about the roles, alpha, omega, she despised them all equally.

Therefore she had never been affected by the scent of any omega, not until she walked into her new classroom.

Haerin had managed to skip the welcome speech, it would just be a bunch of words of encouragement that the director would spit out meaninglessly,
