Backstory: Not much is known about Alex Keller's early life and history, but what's known about him is that he was part of Delta Force, during his time when Alex met Ian Prince during a mission to capture a Yemeni terrorist before transferring to the CIA in 2013. During a mission in Verdansk of Kastovia in 2015, Alex and his team were tasked with retrieving a stockpile of chlorine gas from Makarov and his Konni PMC forces, who are affiliated with the Ultranationalist rebels. However, the mission failed when Alex's team was suddenly attacked by unknown insurgents, who stole the gas. After the Al-Qatala's attack on Piccadilly Circus, Alex was then sent to Urzikstan to cooperate with Farah and Hadir Karim in fighting against Makarov and his PMC and Al-Qatala, in exchange for the location of the gas, not realizing that Hadir was the one who stole the gas in an attempt to make Makarov taste his own medicine. Even after Farah's forces being branded as terrorist due to Hadir's action, Alex stayed behind in defiance and later joined Ian, Farah, Price, and Gaz in attack Makarov's gas factory in Georgia, where Alex alone planted the charges. He escaped but not without injury on his left leg, forcing him to use prosthetic. Due to this action, Alex Keller immediately earns his place in Ian's Task Force Disciples.
Alex's friendship with Ian started when Ian was sent to Yemen to capture the terrorist with Alex, who was still in the Delta Force, and Delta Force's Metal Team.
