Backstory: Born in the United Kingdom, Helen Park entered Oxford at the age of 16 to study international relations. However, tragedy struck when her older brother was killed in a Ten Ring car bomb attack in London, thus making her to drop out from the program to study the origins and motivations of various international paramilitary organizations. This eventually led her to join MI6, in which she earned her place by proving her prowess as an expert strategist, becoming one of the agency's youngest and most talented logistics agent.

After years of international assignments, Helen was tasked to escort 2 British scientists to an undisclosed location for a joint CIA-MI6 project. There, she met Russell Adler and they quickly became friends, as well as Eleazar "Lazar" Azoulay, whom she quickly formed a crush on.

Helen Park first met Ian Prince in 2011 during a joint CIA-MI6-SAS assassination operation in the ghost town of Pripyat and the nearby Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine to eliminate Russian arms dealer Imran Zakhaev. They quickly became friends and later brother and sister-in-arms. Not only that, she also introduced him to her superior and Fury's old ally, Sonya Falsworth, who quickly became Ian's ally, as well as suggesting Falsworth and Park in forming a British version of the Avengers. Ian also helped Helen Park pursuing a romantic relationship with Eleazar "Lazar" Azoulay, in which it succeeded.
