Backstory: A man of principle, Gideon is known to be a self-disciplined man coming from a military family. Joining the Army right after reaching 21, he quickly rose to the rank of Captain and 2 years later, he was involved during the Chitauri invasion of New York and that was when he met Ian Prince/Infinitus Prime for the first time. Inspired by the Prime's honor and courage, as well as his words, Gideon decided to fight to protect his fellow brothers-in-arms and the innocent and this earned a spot at the SAS. And after a routine mission for the SAS, he is approached by Kate Laswell, who was sent by Ian/Infinitus Prime, who tells him: "There is a job opportunity a friend of mine wants to give you."
