20. Free the Shadows

Moria revealed that he was inside the control room in Oars' stomach. He challenged the pirate group, "If you can defeat me, I will free all the shadows!"

"Usopp, go get the salt so we can purify Oars," Zoro said but Gecko Moria destroyed the path to the kitchen. Luckily, Usopp was saved by Brook who had already got the salt.

We continued to attack Oars and Franky was knocked out. When Oars was going to finish him, Nami finally appeared using her weapon to electrocute him while I flew to Franky and snatched him away. Robin saved Nami from the attack.

Luffy had come gathered with the group but what they saw was Luffy's body was now in blue. He saved Nami and Usopp who were about to be stomped by Oars, he stopped him by using only one hand and sent Oars flying into the forest.

Luffy unleashed the attack at Oars and Gecko Moria. The Lunarians add a slash using her katana on Oars. Luffy then fell unconscious while the shadows started leaving Luffy. The victims cheered that Thriller Bark had fallen.

Shortly, the sun is almost up, but Oars gets back again so the rest of the group fights Oars. After defeating Oars, Gecko Moria arose from Oars' cockpit. He absorbed all the zombies' shadows and transformed into a giant version of himself.

The sun is almost rising and the only person whose shadow didn't get stolen was Aruna. Luffy combined his Gear 2 and Gear 3 together to defeat Gecko Moria. The impact of this move caused Thriller Bark's mast to fall on top of Moria, forcing him to spew out all the shadows just as the sun came out.

The Lunarians used her huge black-leathered wings to cover their figure as they slowly started burning away. But at the last second, the shadows all come back to their owner. All the people cheered for victory.

But the celebration was cut when another man approached us.

"I forgot to tell you, there's another Warlord on the ship," Naomi said with eyes widening, staring at the Warlord, Kuma.

"I was ordered by the world government to revive Gecko Moria and eliminate everyone who witnessed his defeat." He said.

He takes out a few of the Rolling Pirates by launching paw-shaped air blasts. He then teleports again and appears in front of us and claims he will start with Zoro.

"Come on not again! We just defeated one and now here comes another?!" The Lunarians complained and imbued her katana with her flames and Haki on it, leaving a cut on the Warlord.

The Warlord exposed some wire modifications on him. He stared at the Lunarians, without saying anything. He used his devil fruit power to compress the air into a paw-shaped balloon, "If you surrender, I will let you live." Of course, the pirate group refused. So he launched the balloon bomb and blasted almost everything in Thriller Bark.

All the people were knocked out but only Zoro and Aruna didn't. Zoro, knowing his death was upon him, decided to offer his life to trade Luffy's.

"Count me in." The Lunarians said and took a step in front. "Get away Aruna, I can do this myself."

"Shut up. At least we can share the responsibility."

Kuma used his devil fruit and took out all the pain from Luffy. And the two accept all the pain from it. Because the Lunarians had self-healing power, she could recover from all the pain she received, but Zoro was hurt seriously.

Sanji, the first who woke up came to find us. He was relieved that the first time he saw the Lunarians was fine. But he slowly noticed that all the ground around Zoro was blood and Zoro himself was bleeding.

"Oi moss head! Aruna! What happened to you two? Answer me!"

"Nothing...happened." We said in unison. Then Zoro passed out and collapsed to the ground. So I carried Zoro in my arm and flew back to ask Chopper to treat his wound and also my small scratch. Then I saw Luffy jumping everywhere, looks perfectly fine.

After that, we had a feast for celebration while only Zoro was lying beside us to recover his injuries. Brook found a piano and started to play the song, Bink's Sake. He also revealed his past life of how they met Laboon.
Luffy asked him to join the crew once again and Brook accepted happily with tearful eyes.

Zoro was awake after this, I accompanied him and joined Brook as Usopp and Franky had erected a grave in the ceremony for Brook's crew. Before we left, a girl named Lola gave a Vivre card to her mother, she explained this piece of paper can show the direction of the owner and will guide you to them. So if we ever face any trouble in the future, we can ask her mother for help.

Luffy then took out another vivre card and found out the paper was burning and becoming smaller. Lola reminded Luffy he was in danger right now. Though Luffy was concerned, he decided not to pursue it.

When everything was settled, we set sail again and followed the log pose to Fish-Man Island, with one new member with us.
