25. Meet

I cannot express my feelings, I only know my tears are gathered in my eyes. I bent down my knee, used my hand to cover my eyes, and used my wings to hide myself while sobbing.

The man in front of me also bent down and he gently patted my head. I looked up at him with teary eyes and said, "Sorry I... let me have some time to calm down myself." He nodded and continued to pat me until I calmed down.

I inhaled deeply and looked back at him again. "I apologize for what happened just now. My name is Aruna."

"No worries. I'm King, I allow you to call me Alber. But don't mention this name to anybody else. You're the only one with this permission."

"Okay, Alber. So did you also escape from Punk Hazard?"

"I was rescued by Kaido-san. So I escaped with him and worked under him. How about you?"

"I can escape thanks to an explosion. But when I tried to search for someone I didn't see anyone there. So I thought I was the only one who survived and quickly ran away as the Marines were after me."

"Is okay, you're safe now," Alber said while pulling me closer to him and hugging me, I felt warm around him.

"But Alber I need to go now, although I have so many things want to talk about with you," I said while gently pushing away from him.

"You're one of the Red Hair Pirates?"

"No, I've just stayed with them for a short time. Now I want to go back to rescue one of my friends. I cannot see him dying."

Alber didn't say anything, he looked disappointed all of a sudden.

"I promised I would come back to you after everything is settled." I looked at him with determination.

"Fine. Promise you won't get hurt. I don't want to see the only companion I left come back with injured."

"I promised. Now I had to go. See you soon Alber." Before I went, he gave me his Vivre card so I could come back to him in the future. I also gave him mine so he would know if I was safe or not.

Back to Shanks's ship, Shanks came back at the same time as I. "So now are we going to meet Luffy?" I asked. "Yes." And the crew started sailing to Marineford, where the Marines wanted to execute Ace.

"What are you doing just now, Aruna?" Yasopp asked me.

"I met another Lunarians, so we decided to chat for a while. He said he is working under Kaido."

"Oh yeah, I just remembered that dragon had a first mate who is also a Lunarians named King," Shanks said with a smile.

King PoV

"King, what took you so long? I thought you were capturing someone?" Kaido-san asked me while sipping his booze.

"We had a small chat, and I decided to let her go." I smiled while looking at her vivre card.

"Oh, why?"

"Kaido-san, after you rescued me, I thought I was the only kind who left in this world. But now I had a companion."

"So she is the one. Why don't you two get together, that will be interesting! Wororororo!"

"Kaido-san don't make fun of me. We might become enemies in the future. But if can, I also want to protect her."

In Marinford

"The Emperor, Red-hair Shanks are here!"

"How did they come here so fast from New World? Did they sail two days straight from there?"

"I had come here, to end this war." Shanks declared to the Marines and all the pirates.

Aruna PoV

"Luffy, are you okay!" But Luffy just kneeled on the ground in despair, in front of him was his brother but a hole in the middle of his chest.

"Oh no! Damn that marine!"

Before the marine performs another attack on Luffy, a flame phoenix blocks him so the attack won't land on Luffy. I grabbed Luffy and flew away.

"Damn that Lanarians! Don't ever think you will escape from here straw hat!" The marine yelled at us.

"Enough Akainu! The war has ended. The victory belongs to the marine!" A man who was wearing a cap with a seagull on it announced. Shanks and his crew take Ace and Whitebeard so we can hold a funeral ceremony for them.

We buried both of them on the latter's home island. Although I didn't know them well, I still send my regards to them as they are important to Luffy.

"So what would you want to do after this, Aruna?" Shanks asked me before he left.

"I will go find Luffy."

"Okay, take care of yourself. Bye."

After I said my farewell to Shanks, I flew up to the sky and looked for Luffy. The last time I knew he had escaped with a yellow submarine. So he is now staying with the Heart Pirates, but where will they be? I fly while thinking, the island which is near the Marineford only had Amazon Lily. Guess I will try my luck there.

After I was near the Amazon Lily, I suddenly thought, "Wait, aren't they don't welcome the man here?" But then I saw a yellow submarine behind the island.
"Okay, guess there's always a miracle." I saw the Heart Pirates also sitting at the shore

"Lunar-ya, are you here to visit straw hat-ya?" Law asked me.

"Yup, where is he?"

"Inside the jungle. But now his condition is not good, although Jinbe-ya tries to stop him. I think you had to wait here for some time." He advised me.

So I decided to wait at the shore until a Sea King was killed by an unknown enemy. "That's impressive," I said.
An old man walked up to shore and revealed that he was Rayleigh.

"Woah Rayleigh-san, did you swim here?" I asked.

"Oh, Aruna! Never thought to see you here. Yea, my ship was broken because of the storm so I swim here from there."

"What, this island is located at Calm Belt, that's no way there's a storm here. Does that mean he swims way far from Calm Belt?!" The Heart Pirate crew exclaimed.
