37. Rescue the Children

"Huh? Why the children were collapsed on the floor?" Ceaser asked while checking all of us, finally, he laid his eyes on me, "Shirororo, I thought the Yeti Brothers had caught you already. You will make good use of my experiment."

I frowned, staring at him. He unleashed his smoke to capture all the collapsed children, "Don't try to hurt the children when I was here, even though my wings are hurt." I stood up and cut his smoke with my Haki so he could release the children.

I slowly walked towards him while lifting my sword, ready to cut him, but suddenly I was short of breath, "What?! I cannot breathe!"

"Aruna, he can remove the oxygen around you. Leave him a distance!" Nami said. I quickly fell back and my breath slowly returned, "So there is a range for using this method."

'If I want to defeat him, I need to come closer to him. But his devil fruit is annoying.' I thought to myself. "Usopp, shoot him!" I called out to Usopp.

"What?! No way, I can't!" He yelled back while running away and hiding behind me with Nami, "Aruna, you're the only one who can protect us!" Suddenly, Brownbeard stopped Ceaser from attacking us and helped us fight back, but still couldn't save the children from him as he already snatched them away. After that, Brownbeard was found under the destruction.

I helped him get out of it and he said he wanted to save the children and his crews from Ceaser's lies. So we climbed to his back and ran to Ceaser's lab.

Time skip

We saw the door of the lab was about to close up, so we encouraged Brownbeard to run faster so we would not die in the toxic gas. Finally, we managed to get inside the lab before the door was shut completely.

"Wait! Zoro and the rest haven't gotten in!" I said. Then the door was cut open and revealed to Kinemon and Zoro, "Oh they came."

"Hey, why did you cut the door? Now the gas will get inside!" The G-5 marines scolded them angrily. "Think of a way to fix it," Zoro said emotionless. The Marines had no other choice, they quickly grabbed something to fix it although they were still mad at what Zoro and Kinemon did.

Tra-guy started to explain to us that there was only one exit to escape the laboratory, we needed to look for a door with 'R building 66' on it, "I will give you two hours to think about it." He said.

We decided to rescue the children along with the marines while Luffy only wants to beat Ceaser. So we all split up and went in different directions.

We will still ride on Brownbeard while noticing a dragon was chasing us. So I ignited the dragon with my flame, "Aruna don't burn it first, I want to kill it as just now he ignored me." Brook said while shifting out his sword, "No let me kill it." Kinemon said while also shifting out his sword. So I put out the fire to let them do it.

"Is that Monster Chopper?" I pointed at the big figure that appeared on the balcony above us. We quickly came up to help Chopper from stopping the children to get the candies.

"Should I knock them out with my Conquerer Haki again?" I asked while blocking the children. "No Aruna! The children need to escape too. We cannot carry all of them!" Nami said.

"Alright." While we still blocking the children, a woman with wings appeared in front of the child, "Mocha, you cannot keep the candies for yourself, you  should share the candies with other children."

The giant child named Mocha seemed shocked as she heard the woman say. "Why Monet-nee chan, these candies are bad." Then Robin told us we needed to get the sea prism handcuff so Usopp, Brook, and Kinemon split up with us.

Robin was wounded because of prevented the children from going rampage on Mocha. The Zoro was finally here with some marines, he then ordered the marines to subdue the kids. "Zoro, what took you so long? Lost again?" I asked him. "Shut up!"

I blocked Monet from attacking Chopper and Nami. Nami then used her Heat Ball to damage Monet. The rest are trying to stop the children when Monet blocks the exit with her snow barrier. I melted all the snow off the exit so that Nami and the rest could get out.

"Aruna you go with them. I can handle this bird woman." Zoro said, "Okay." I answered and followed Nami's direction.

When I finally catch up with Nami, they are still trying their best to stop the children from getting closer to Mocha who is holding the candies. I decided to create a firewall to prevent the children from getting closer.

"Aruna that's too dangerous! What if the children get hurt!" Nami said trying to stop me. "Don't worry. Although they will feel hot, the fire means no harm to them." But some giant children still rushed through the firewall, "What?! How brave are they?! No, they are getting close to Mocha!" I exclaimed.

Then, Mocha ate the whole candies and she collapsed on the floor with blood coughing out from her mouth. The children finally know the truth when Chopper explains it to them. Sanji and other marines had come and helped us subdue and sedate the children.

After Chopper finished treating Mocha, we decided to move from our place and get out of there as the laboratory started to break down and the gas had slowly gotten inside the building.

We also met with Brook and Kinemon who was in a petrified state. "Let me carry you guys, we have to hurry and meet with Luffy," I said.

"But Aruna, your wings haven't recovered yet. Your bone might break if you do this." Chopper said worried. "That's fine, is not too far from here. Come on, climb to my back."

They all got up on my back because of my stubbornness. I was scolded by Chopper all along the way and he told me I could not take any action during my recovery.

We finally meet with Luffy and we get on to the railcart to get out of the laboratory.
