It didn't take long for us to bump into the necromancer, I guess he was waiting for his next victim. We were at the wrong place at the wrong time. He turned straight to Jethro and hissed that he was soon going to become his puppet.
"Ain't no way in hell am I joining you and your creepy ass army!" he shouted.
"If you won't join me, then you can die!" he yelled back and knocked his staff to the ground. At first, nothing happened and we laughed at him, and then, a skeletal hand grabbed Jethro by the hand. It was his right I believe but I couldn't tell.
Zaxl launched his blinding spell and the necro was unfazed by it.
"Silly rabbit, your spells aren't advanced enough!" the man hissed.
"May we at least know your name if we are to perish?" I begged.
"Jocet," he said the name a little too proudly.
"Go to hell, Jocet!" Jethro yelled.
"The infernos don't terrify me, I simply rule over them.
"You're a ruler?" Zaxl stifled a laugh.
"Damn right I am," he said a little too proudly.
"Listen, buddy, we really need to see the mage Fallur so would you kindly piss off?" Jethro begged.
"No can do," he said and summoned an army of skeletons. I'm talking dozens upon dozens.
"Well, looks like luck is not on your side!" Jocet mocked.
"Yuna, please help us!" I begged.
"Okay, but this is the last time I'm helping you three out," she warned.
"Fine with me," I said.
"Me too," Zaxl hissed.
"Meh, okay," Jethro conceded.
"Very well. Jocet I order you to stand down!" she shouted. Hearing Yuna shout was beyond shocking and I even got a bit scared.
"Or what?" he challenged her.
"Or we cut your bloody head off, that's what," Jethro explained.
Yuna cast a spell I had never heard of before and it outright vaporized Jocet and his army.
"Whoah! How did you do that?" I asked.
"Come with me to the Great Ether and I will show you," she teased.
"But we'd be dead by then?" I asked in confusion.
"That's the point dumbass!" Jethro mocked.
"Yuna, at least tell us where to go!" I begged.
"Go north until you see a tower. It should be colored bright orange, can't miss it," she explained the directions.
We followed her directions and went on the north path. In a few minutes, we began to see the tower. It was the color of oranges in the summer and we knocked on the mages' door.
"Who is it?" he warily asked.
"Just some travelers who have come here from Colmer. My brother is about to be permanently turned into a vampire. Please help us!" I begged desperately.
The mage opened the door and muttered something I couldn't hear.
"Come again?" Zaxl asked.
"I said what an unusual trio. A Draulter and two brothers. I'll be damned. Draulters are supposed to hate humans.
"These have saved my life. I owe a great deal of gratitude to them. I was a pathetic hermit for seventy years before they stumbled upon my shack," he explained.
