"So, what have you been doing in the Marsh, Stella?" I asked, curious.

"Oh, you know, eating the Draulter's food..."

"Stella!" Zaxl hissed loudly.

"Not like I stole it, the village pitied me while you were gone," she explained.

"I understand," Jethro said.

"I'm glad you do!" she beamed.

"Sire, it is a matter of utmost urgency!" a Draulter I had never seen before exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" Jethro asked, on edge.

"There is a manticore headed this way!" he shouted.

"Bloody hell, this always happens to us!" Jethro shouted.

"Are you back to the normal you?" I asked, shocked that he resumed swearing.

"You bet your ass I am!" he exclaimed.

"Guys, look behind you!" Zaxl hissed.

I looked behind me and was greeted with a bizarre combination of creatures. It had the body of a lion, the wings of a dragon, and the tail of a scorpion.

I rolled to the side just as the scorpion's tail hit the ground. It missed me by mere inches. I was terrified out of my mind, but knew I couldn't let fear get to me. I cast Frostus Freezus but it only worked temporarily. The beast recovered quickly and attempted to sting us with its massive tail. Just as it was about to, Stella flew in front of me, being stung in the process. She fell down and I was enraged.

"That was my friend, you bastard!" I yelled and stabbed the manticore straight in the heart. It collapsed and I went over to Stella who was shaking like an autumn leaf

"It's going to be okay, Stella," I cried.

"I wouldn't be so sure," she chuckled.

"We could heal you!" Zaxl offered.

"No. thank you for accepting me as one of your own, our adventures were the stuff of legend. Goodbye," she closed her eyes for the last time.

"Mother, you could have healed her," I wept.

"She is going to the Great Ether, my boy," Yuna gently spoke.

"So, this it then?" I wept.

"Yes, it is."

"Are we ready to go to Colmer?" I asked.

"No, I still have to free Aurelline!" Jethro shouted.

"Your crush?" I teased.

"Shut up!" he turned the color of beets.

"Let's teleport to the river, please?" he made puppy eyes.

"Well, okay, but don't forget the jar!" Zaxl hissed softly.

"How could we forget?" I teased.

"You forget everything, Jethro, including your manners."

"Whatever... You guys ready?"

We gave him the thumbs up and said the magic words,

"Teleportum Destinarium!" we all shouted.
