Vesperis was large and spacious, completely unlike Colmer. Fountains were virtually everywhere and if you stopped to count them all you'd get lost. It would be like counting every star in the night sky, bloody well impossible.

"Unlike Colmer, eh? Jethro jested

"Very different," I commented,

"So where is this king?" I asked.

"Probably in a palace somewhere," Jethro replied.

"Zaxl?" I asked

"Yeah?"

"You're being awfully quiet."

"I am just thinking."

"About? I asked.

"This king is familiar somehow."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I know him from somewhere."

"Is that bad?" I asked.

"You tell me..."

"Hey, which way to the king?" Jethro casually asked.

"Follow the steps up to the palace," a young girl replied."

"What palace?" I asked

"Go north and you will see it."

"Wait, it's that simple?" Jethro asked.

"Yeah, the king loves visitors."

"Come on, Zaxl," I begged.

"Coming," he said in a distracted tone.

"I'm serious!" I shouted.

"Did you just shout at me?" He asked in disbelief.

"I believe I did," I replied rudely.

"Will you apologize?" he asked, crossing his arms like a petulant child.

"No, I will not," I smirked.

"Understood, I am sorry for getting upset," he apologized.

"No worries, you have that right."

"I just feel useless sometimes," he admitted.

"We both do," Jethro admitted.

"As do I," I confessed

"It's good to have you both around," Zaxl said.

"We love you too, Z," I said, smiling.

We went up the palace steps and found ourselves at a large gate.

"Well, this is it," Zaxl spoke.

"Looks like it."

We knocked on the gate and an elderly man asked us what our business was here.

"We are the heroes of Colmer!" Jethro shouted.

"Hold on," he opened the gate, letting us through.
