Her Date

POV Adrien:

After a long day of lessons, Luka, me and Marinette decided to start our project in the bluenette's house.

Marinette insisted that I bring Plagg with me, for that he plays with Tikki, so I had to drive all the way home and bring my fur ball then back to her house.

Sabine: hi Adrien, how are you son?

Adrien: I'm fine Mrs. Dupain Cheng, Luka and Marinette are here, right?

Tom: yes, they are upstairs, go there and here a tray with a lot of goodies, and your favorite croissants

This project will be the worst project that I'll ever do in my life because the girl I love is with Luka, the one who think it's me

I had a seat; Marinette was between us. even if we worked a lot and advanced in our project but both of them flirting sometimes isn't really pleasant. It feels awkward

I let them talk and do their shit like I'm the third wheel, and sometimes, looking at Plagg and Tikki playing together. I was really sad; I just stand up after one hour of work

Luka: what's up Adrien?

Adrien: I remembered that I have stuff to do, I'll come tomorrow, Marinette, for a copy of the project

Marinette: ohhh ok Adrien

I didn't say anything, I just got Plagg, leaving Tikki whimpering, then I left from the trap, but downstairs, her parents stopped me

Tom: you are all done?

Adrien: no Mr. Dupain, I should be back home

Sabine: ohhh ok, take this with you

I smiled when Sabine gave me a pack of croissants. I put Plagg on the car seat beside me but he just jumped to lay on my thigh

I said as I drive away home. There I just take off all my clothes then I laid on my back, staring at the ceiling and thinking about Marinette

It was just 8pm, but I didn't want to sleep, I was playing with Plagg on bed, and he was cheering me up whenever he licks my finger with that cute face he has

I was thinking that she really forgets about me, I mean the one who admired her, her secret admirer, and get interested of Luka? why him? why just him? and why should I be in the same project with them?

I laid on my side, staring at my sleeping fur ball, suddenly, I heard a notification from my phone. I got it and I have found that Marinette sent me a message

I'm ready to give everything I have, just to know, with what Marinette think? I'm not that Luka, I'm not him, I'm Adrien, the one who loves you and Luka is the one who is getting along this fucking situation and like it.

I didn't answer, I just put my phone on the stand, I decided to answer tomorrow because I'm too hurt to write anything. I just cried my tears out and fell asleep

The next day, I went in the evening to Marinette's house for the copy of project. I was greeted by her generous parents as always

Adrien: hi Mr. Dupain, I'm here for the copy of project, Marinette know about it

Tom: copy of project? But Marinette isn't here. she said she has a date with Luka

Adrien: d-date with Luka?

I said with widen eyes and broken voice, knowing about her date with Luka really broke me

Sabine: I'm really sorry, we can't do anything, we can't even tell her that it's you

Tom: we know it's you, the one who gifted her Tikki and write her all the beautiful things

I bite m lower lip and looked down, disappointed that Marinette think about Luka, but she never thought that it could be me

Adrien: Luka love her too; Marinette is an amazing girl. At least, I was able to get her first kiss ... and mine too

Tom: we know, we were annoyed that she thinks about the wrong person. She said that it's the cologne scent, the letter she found with Luka that she wrote for you, and more stuff leading her to Luka, but I'm sure that it's a coincidence

Adrien: that's the problem, it's a bad luck. That paper fell from me and then Luka give it to me again, and about the cologne, Luka liked it so I bought him one from mine

Sabine: everything will be fine

Adrien: nothing will be fine. Yesterday I left early because she was smiling all the time to Luka, they were talking and I just didn't want to talk, Marinette even asked me to talk with them, but I just wanted to be quiet, it was bullshit. I give up on everything

Tom: don't give up Adrien

I just smiled, and I left the bakery, then I went to my car. While driving, I saw Luka and Marinette walking on the walkside holding hands and eating ice cream
