The battle at the Serpent Peak was endless as more and more undead flooded the land in every corner and precipice. Even with the combined force of the Draconian, Erinyes, and Werecat armies, and a few of the Druid mages, the number did not dwindle. They were like roaches still able to move even with their heads no longer attached to their bodies.
The mystical Berserkers were about ten feet tall but could grow larger and bigger if they worked themselves into a mystical rage. They were nude, demonic in appearance with red skin and horns on their heads. Underneath their coating, pulsating like coals, scarring their outer layers was the fiend fire, burning them incessantly. Some say it was this fire that caused their infinite pain, others believed that it was the flame that gave grace to their limitless strength. Whatever it was, four of them attacked Kali all at once and the Dragon Prince did not waste his time, swinging Nightfall about his torso and striking them to an accelerating beat.
Kali's warrior body was muscular and flexible, and the more eager his passion for battle was, the more the smoke belching from the Nightfall thickens. The light from the burning skin of the Berserkers illuminated Kali's Draconian eyes; the fight excites both the master and the sword.
Not far behind, the Werecats howled as their Alpha Kla Han did, signaling their full transformation. The Berserkers matched their battle cry and shout, transforming themselves into a more fiendish beast.
Then, as if his sword was weightless, Kali spun Nightfall around and threw it straight ahead, it found its mark and landed on the stomach of each Berserkers cutting through their thickened skin and spilling their insides. They roared in pain but Kali was smiling, and no matter how many times they sliced and wound him, he healed as fast as the eye could blink!
Nightfall twisted back to the hand of its master, the sword felt like giggling in his hand, satisfied with this night's meal. But knowing the Berserkers could still move even with their guts spilling from their bellies, Nightfall quivered, eager for another round.
"Easy..." Kali muttered under his breath then casually switched the hold of the sword in his left hand, slightly moving to the side with ease as one of the Berserker attacked with an enormous weapon---an axe made of bones.
He danced in between the four Berserkers five times bigger than him only raising Nightfall to avoid the attack on the right. Then his right arm caught and blocked the axe of the other, but even with the deep cuts it was no use, the Dragon Prince's body was immortal in itself.
...he simply cannot be wounded.
As Kali avoided the third Berserker's attack, the axe hit the other right behind him, it stumbled and rolled to the ground. Kali cruelly cleaved his sword to the neck of the one to his right. It took three brutal strikes to sever the head from the body. It fell at Kali's feet, staining the ground with its dark blood. Nightfall pulsed as it consumed the soul. The glowing sword was filled to the brim with a thick dark smoke that steams red as it boils. The more it eats, the darker it gets. Soon, it will burst into a dark flame that represents its master's power.
Another Berserker attacked from behind, the very same one that rolled on the ground earlier; but Kali was quicker and he sliced off its nose. Dark liquid spurts from the wound, it screams, dropping the axe on the asphalt ground. When the third and second saw this, they attacked simultaneously but it was no use, for Kali's sword was too powerful for them to match.
Kali impaled the second in the chest with his hand alone and the third in the stomach. As number three stepped backward holding the blade of his sword, Kali pushed it even further then moved the blade all the way through to its chest cutting number three in half. Number two gazed with amazement at Kali, even without speaking, the expression alone was of sheer amazement. He was impaled in the chest by the arm of the Dragon Prince!
