"Talk to me!"

Som had to force the brothers out of his room by bribing them that he would come with them tomorrow to visit the Old-eldhill once more. They bragged that Som hadn't seen the rest of the town and they should enjoy it since the next week was the festival season and most likely their last week in the academy before they returned to their respective territories. Som was supposed to feel really sad about this; it was supposed to be a dramatic moment parting with the strigoi brothers and Saanvi (even though she blatantly told them she hated each and every one of them), plus he still thinks he could change the way this world view friendship if he was given more chance to spend with them.

But all of those moments were put to the side as he confirmed from the brothers Marko and Mica that draconian doesn't give a damn care about whether they chose a female or male as their consort because the monarchs of the draconian race have the ability to impregnate both sexes.

Ilarion finally came through after a few hiccups and immediately detected the displeasure in Som's voice. "Are you mad again?"

Som's cackle was filled with nothing but sarcasm, "Oh, trust me. I'm more than mad. Not only did you create this story as a BL, where everywhere I look, all of them are gay, but you've also dabbed this as MPREG?!"

Huh? Ilarion thought. He was at one of the well-known temples of the erinyes that he found it hard to get a proper signal. Ilarion thought that if he stepped out for a moment, it should lessen the blockage, and he could communicate with the other person once more.

That other person means Som.

"Well, what do you mean, MPREG?"

"Duh, you did a fanfic, but you don't know MPREG?"

Ilarion sighed. Yep, he's mad again. "Never mind that I didn't know. What's more interesting is the fact that YOU know when you told me you don't read fanfic!"

And that put him into his place. Ilarion smirked at the sudden victory, but at the same time, he also thought about what Som said. It seemed "this" part was happening earlier than expected, which means it changed again. Everything that he wrote happens, albeit with some changes, but the plot remains there. However, when and how it should happen depends on this person's choice. Som's choice.

"Som, start from the beginning."

Som took a deep breath first before revealing everything that happened thus far. From the moment Kali decided he should come with him, to the battle that has transpired and to the deal he struck with the strigoi. Once he finished, Som realized how exhausted he was, and Ilarion agreed that it was indeed exhausting.

"I never wrote it that way," Ilarion confessed. "The strigoi brothers were supposed to kill Viktoriya."

"Why are they annihilating every member of the House of Perova?" asked Som, genuinely curious. "They wouldn't tell me. We're friends, but they don't completely trust me."

"Trust me, every race in this world doesn't trust each other, and for a good reason. Getting involved in the internal conflict could risk an outsider breaking the Peace Treaty, and the race entertaining the outsider would be held accountable for it. That's how it goes."

"Right. Why would you even write it that way?"

Ilarion rolled his eyes in exasperation. "Forget it! Anyway, we're getting close."

"Close to what?"

Close to that "person" returning and the inevitable war that would happen and why this book was titled "Legion War" in the first place. Sure, his intention was to write a BL, but like other pure-blooded males, his adoration for action and gory fight scenes didn't lessen with the love story.
