(Vanessa's POV)

I was practicing for like 20 minutes. When I heard a knock on the door. I opened to see a depressed Angelika.

"Hey what's up?" I say

"The sky, we don't have time right now to talk about it." She says

"Why?" I asked

"Jason is about to get punished" she said. I don't know why but here that sentence made my body tense up.

"Oh... right his dad is making him fight him to show him dominance." I said

"Yeah and he is making everybody come and watch." She said

"Fine. I'll go and change." I said

"No you don't have time," she said dragging me down the hall

"But, I can't walk out there with a sports bra and shorts." I said

"Here, I grabbed it before coming here. I knew you would refuse to head outside without changing," she said handing me my cloak

"Uh... By the way what was your punishment?" I said

"I can't be within 25 meters of Christopher for the next 24-hours," she said. That is why she was depressed. I guess it must be painful being so close to your mate but not enough to touch each other. Jason walked out and stripped of his clothes and his father did the same. I caught an eye full of Jason and so did every girl there. I got a bit jealous, but I don't know why. We're just friends.

"Okay, so today you're going to witness me and my son battle. I'm here to show you why I'm king. The battle will be for an hour or until one of us passes out," He said to the crowd

Then they shifted into wolf form and began to circle each other. I was just tense and worried that Jason would get hurt. I looked over a Queen Eliza. She looked even tenser then I was. I walked over to her to see if I could comfort her.

"I'm sure they both will be fine," I said

"I know, but I'm more worried about David. He hasn't fought in ages." She says

"Don't worry, Jason will take it easy and remember he is the alpha king," I told her reassuringly. I looked back and David was biting Jason's shoulder. Jason then threw him off and he hit a tree. Then Jason bite one of David's legs. You could see all the blood on the field from those two just fighting. David wasn't moving, but then started to get up and when we thought he was about to pounce the bell rang and both changed back. Eliza couldn't sit there anymore and honestly, I couldn't either.
