(Vanessa's POV)

OMG! Men! I can't believe that he would suggest that at this moment in time I should just choose some guy. I can't just choose either one. I feel a bond towards Jason but I just can't trust him. I should give him a chance but then no. Also Dmitri, who is to say I should just marry him, I just can't see anything going further with him, but I did promise to give him a chance as well.

Why am I even thinking about this I should just help find these rogues that are attacking, so I can leave. I walked down the hall towards the dinning room doors. I was going to get Angelika to go and study some of the files back in the lab locker. I was turning the cornered when I saw Angelika talking to Dmitri. I walked past him and went straight to her. I grabbed her arm and dragged her away telling her just a few words.

"Wait," Angelika said pulling me back, "What happen earlier after you left with Jason and Dmitri?" I told her the short version of what happen about me introducing the two to each other and me snapping after Dmitri asking me who I was going to choose.

"Well, it does make sense that they would want to know who you seem more interested in but asking you straight up was stupid," she commented.

"I know but seriously I have no clue who to legitimately choose," I told her.

"Well, let's get your mind off this. What did you want to talk about?"

"I actually was hoping to going into the lab and seeing the old files. I also was going to go and get background checks for everyone that had entered and exited the ball along with everyone who works at the castle. I also want to go see the lake where I was at to see what happened."

"That sounds good want me to go call And get the people working on the background check?"

"Yeah that sounds good. I will go talk to Calvin and Bethany. I'll tell them about what I'm going to be doing."

"Okay," Angelika said walking away, "meet back in an hour."

I started walking down the hall again. I was happy that I didn't have to walk far since Calvin and Bethany's rooms are right next to each others. I got to their rooms. I knocked on Bethany's door first and then I knocked on Calvin's door.

"Hey Vanny," Calvin said.

"You know I hate that nickname," I told him. 

"I do, so what you need?"

"I came to inform you about my plan on how to deal with the rouges," I told them in detail the exact same thing I told Angelika.

"That sounds like a good plan but when are you going to go to the lab? Since you left and your mother's death only a few people have been working there," Bethany told me.

"I don't know maybe tomorrow. I know Linette and Ricardo are leaving later and I want to say goodbye to her before she leaves," I told her.

"How about a key," Calvin asked.

"Well I will have to look for it," I responded.

"Okay," Bethany said looking down at her phone, "I have to take this."

"No problem that was all I had to say. You can go," I told her and she walked away to take the call.

"See ya guys," I said turning away but Calvin caught my arm.

"Are you okay with the Jason thing?"

"Yeah, I guess as okay as I can be," I responded.

"If you want I can go and take care of him," he said.

"Ha thanks but no. What you can do is not tell any of this to Luke. If he finds out I don't know what he will do."

"Okay, but if you change your mind you know were I am," he said letting go of my arm. I started to walk down the hall. I started to think about how the rogues caught me so off guard and how they could have gotten on to the castle ground so many times and who is pulling all the strings in this entire mess. I ran into Jason looks like he was in deep thought as I was and he didn't look to happy about what he was thinking about.

"What happened?" I asked him

"It looks like something happened to Natalie," he told me and I scowled at him.

"I don't care about her. So if you are going to tell the details you have two minutes starting now."

"A maid found a shattered glass and an empty room in the morning she found it strange. I sniffed out her room and nobody has seen her."

"Okay, since that is all I should be going." I told him and left. Natalie the back stabbing perky Derek little b*tch. Her name coming out of his mouth just p*ss me off even more. Wherever she is I still curse her name. The last thing I'm going to do is help investigating this b*tches whereabouts.

Hey guys, two chapters one day. I'm updating twice since it is my first day back. This was more of a filler chapter but oh well. I have nothing more to type.
