Ch . 7 Worse and Worse

Jungkook's head snapped towards the unearthly wails and saw a huge wave of fan girls right around the corner. He took out his phone as he ran back into the café. "Oh Namjoon, please save me! I'm at The Sounds Café, I'm close to being attacked, please hurry!" he talked fast. He had his back up against the door and Mr. Kim ran quickly to lock it. He pulled the blinds down and closed shop early. "I'm so sorry for bringing trouble Mr. Kim, I didn't think-" "It's alright, it's no problem for us," he replied kindly. "Make yourself comfortable while you wait," he continued.

He dozed off and woke up to a hand shaking his shoulder. "Jungkook, let's go. The van is waiting outside," Namjoon said. Jungkook stretched his neck to and fro and woke up slowly. He stifled a yawn when Mr. Kim walked past and bowed to him. "Uh, Mr. Kim, thanks for helping me. . . if not for you, I-" "It's quite alright, you and your friends are always welcome here, besides, you will be back tonight, right?" he asked. "Ah yes! Of course, see you then!" he bowed deeply this time and left the café with Namjoon.

The screaming got louder as the café door opened and he felt a moment of annoyance at his fans but was overcome with shame just as quickly. He realized that, for some of them, this could have been the first time that they've seen him so he tried to look normal and not annoyed. He slumped against the car seat tiredly and said, "Please, I know I did wrong - I won't do it again, can you not scold me today Namjoon?" he pleaded but it sounded like a dare as a well. Namjoon just sighed as the van drove away.

Jungkook made straight for his room right away, ignoring the five other members' stares. "Hmmm," V said. "I feel that this has definitely happened before," "Right! It was just this morn-"interjected JHope. "Yeah! What could be wrong with Kookie, huh?" asked Jimin. Suga nodded thoughtfully as Jin tried to ask Jungkook what was wrong. "Hey Jungkook, are you okay?" Jin asked. "Yeah, I am, I'm just going to sleep for a bit-night!" Jungkook said dismissively. Jin sighed an "Okay." "What's wrong with him?" Namjoon asked. "I think he's mostly tired, but there's a much bigger problem that's concerning him for sure," Jin shrugged. They all looked at Jungkook's door at the same time and wondered what it was. "Ah, I have the perfect idea!" V blurted. "What is now?" asked Jhope. "Come on, let's plan together!" Jimin said excitedly.

Jungkook tried hard not to think about today's events and sleep eventually caught up with him. He woke up and almost died - it was already 7:15 in the evening.
