Chapter 3: Muddled Morning

Muddled Morning

                Jungkook sat up straight and looked at the girl in the photo for the nth time.  He looked at the wallet some more to see if he can learn her name, but apart from a couple of old photos, some small change and a few guitar picks in varying sizes and colors; there was nothing else.  He decided to look at the old photos. In the first photo, there were two children; a boy and a girl, happily smiling at the camera. The picture was taken by the sea and the two were in their swimsuits. The second photo had three children, the same boy and girl from the first photo but now there was another girl.  The photo was taken by a playground and he saw the same happy smiles on their faces.   He guessed that the long-haired girl was the owner of the wallet and the guitar picks.  He sighed and put the photos back into the wallet when something fell out of it. He picked it up and saw that it was a dark blue guitar pick. He turned it over and read "Seunggi" behind it, in tiny italics.

                No matter how he tried to justify it – 'Seunggi' doesn't seem to be her name.  Now how was he supposed to return the wallet when there was no information on it whatsoever.  He slept on it and in the morning, he decided that he would just have to go back to that street and hope that she will come by again. 

                "Argggghhh! G'morning Kookie!" V shouted as he walked by – but stopped and said, "Why do you have dark circles under your eyes?"

"Aw come off it V, this is nothing," he replied. 

"No really – what's wrong – Jimiiinnn! Come here!" V shouted again.

"Stop that – you're making my head hurt," he tried to shake off V's arm on his shoulder.

"Hey! Who's hurting my Kookie?!" Jimin demanded.

"What's this about  - so early in the morning?" RapMon asked coolly.

"Ah – I just had a little bit of trouble sleeping – nothing drastic that merits this kind of attention" he tried to glare at V.

"Good morning!" Jin greeted them sweetly. "'Morning!" Jhope chimed right in after Jin. Suga just walked past with a cup of coffee in hand and sat down. "What kept you up all night?" asked the leader RapMon in his scarily calm voice.

"I'm not sure as well – but if anything develops – I'll let you know, meanwhile I've somewhere I need to be" he said.

He showered quickly, didn't eat breakfast and ran out the door in a hurry.

The six members stared in amazement at the open door.
