"I don't think I called you at a wrong time," malamig niyang turan.

"I am actually in the middle of something. Can we just talk tomorrow?"

"Tell me, you'll spare me five minutes or I'll shred you to pieces?"

"Fck. Okay, hold on." Ilang minuto lamang ang nakalipas ay unti-unti nang humina ang background music. Naririnig pa rin niya iyon, ngunit kumpara kanina ay mas mahina na iyon. Mukhang lumabas ito ng bar. "Okay, I'm outside."

Hindi siya sumagot. Humigpit lamang ang kapit niya sa cellphone. At this rate, he might really kill Logan. The guy clearly bewitched his sister, but that is not the reason why he would kill him.

If something happens to Rebecca while chasing that guy, he will really forget that they are friends.

"Hey, Shan-"

Binabaan na niya si Diether.

"He's at the Diamond Suites, thirty first floor, but the room number is not certain. Hindi daw nabanggit sa kaniya."

"T-That will do. Thank you." Malalaki ang hakbang ni Rebecca patungo sa sasakyan.

"I'll be coming with you-"

"N-No!" Agad na protesta ni Rebecca. "I am going to him a-alone."
