Charles turns around, glancing over at the Toppat leader with a blank expression on his face. Although he should feel remorse for betraying Henry like this, it was his fault he was stuck in space surrounded by the clan he hated for a couple of months now. Due to Charles' communications with General, he had realized that Henry was never going to change. He'll keep on being a thief, like every other Toppat.

"Charles please we can talk about t-" — Henry pleaded but was cut off by Charles. The annoyed face glued onto the pilots eyes, mouth and eyebrows made Henry's eyes tear up slightly with a salty crystal clear liquid.

"You had your chance, Stickmin," — Charles states with a loud sigh "We, the Government gave you a chance, remember?" Charles lightly smiled staring at Henry who's not answering, "You do remember, don't you? I had hope for you then and you shattered it."

Henry proceeds to stay silent. The liquid that has built up around his eyes slipt out, one by one each droplet made their way across Henry's cheeks following the wet streaks left behind by every other droplet until they either followed the shape of Henry's neck or fell down onto the floor.

"I don't want your little excuses, I won't ever be able to forgive you." — Stated the escapee but he was lying. Maybe it was in Charles' nature to be so quick to give people another chance. Maybe he wants to see Henry re-collect his life assuming it was ruined one day by drugs, or other addicting substances or bad friends that have led him to become what he is now. Or maybe he saw something in Henry that other people didn't? Maybe when they first met he saw a chance of hope in Henry which the blue eyed crushed heartlessly?

Henry looks at Charles, his mouth opened but no words coming out, he didn't know what to say, how to respond, where to start. What does he do, does he apologise? Run? Have a breakdown right infront of Charles who at this point may just find Henry pathetic?

Silence consums Henry once he realised the static from the lamps above stopped and his vision has gotten a slight tealish tint. A sense of dread possessed him once he looked up to see three options appear right in front of him, positioned neatly above the ground between him and Charles.

"Plead", "Give Up", "Teleporter", Read all the choices.

Henry stood before the options, hesitating to pick one of them. He was expecting a timer to pop up but surprisingly it didn't, he had some time to think atleast.

He stared at the choices, unsure of what to pick as he's hovering his hand on almost all of them except one; the teleporter. Although it did work a few times, in the past it just led to him either dying or rendering all that he had done useless, and if he had to he honest none of the presented options seemed good.

Henry sighed, hovering his hand over the "Plead" option knowing that this may end up humiliating for him. But what other reasonable choice does he have? The last thing he was gonna do is give up in a situation like this, even if this option clearly means a fail, or even worse, another ending, rendering another timeline in what's already so complicated for them to understand and explain.

The time unfroze once Henry's index finger touched the icon, everything resuming once again just like before as the Toppat takes a deep breath.

"Charles, I need you to understand something. Please listen to me this time." - Henry spoke up, looking at Charles with sorrowness in his eyes.

"Don't avoid the topic, Henry." — Charles harshly responded,

"I'm not avoiding the topic at all Charles. I just want to explain it to you from my perspective."

"Get to the point, I can't afford to be wasting my time in here anymore." — Henry's heart felt as if it just got stabbed repeatedly with Charles' cold-hearted words.

"I want to fix all that I've done, Charles. You can't do this to me!" - Proclaimed Henry trying to speak with a soft voice but stuttering as his blue eyes become magnificent due to the combination of the clear liquid escaping his eye ducts and the flickering lighting shining on the two of them. Charles gulped, he could not help but feel somewhat bad seeing the Toppat's expression but still rendered him as an enemy. Charles stared at Henry's puffy face, but he couldn't care less at this moment, the Pilot's only goal now was to destroy the Toppat Clan and come back to earth, his home, his house pets that he hopes were being taken care of by someone else.

"Henry, you've had your chance and yet you didn't use it." - Henry's heart felt like it was being excruciatingly torn apart with each cold-filled sound that Charles' vocal cords made, was this how being betrayed felt? Sure, Henry has been betrayed once by Reginald, but that was in a completly different timeline, this Henry hasn't experienced the ruining effect a betray has on someone.

Henry was brought back to reality when he saw Charles turning around to leave, slightly surprised by his hand gripping tightly onto his chest although he didn't remember guiding his hand towards that area he quickly decided to not pay any mind to it and immediately loosened the grip lowering his hand, leaving some creases and folds on the clothes' fabric he was gripping so strongly before.

"Charles, I- Please I know I messed up and stuff please just try and hear out what I have to sa-" — Henry felt a couple of arms gripping his wrist as time seemed to have been frozen once more. Seconds began to feel like minutes as Charles was just standing there, his back that was facing Henry showing off the camouflage design of the military's jackets was interrupted by a bunch of words popping out.

Fail.

"Trying to fix a broken glass doesn't undo all the damage caused to it, does it?"

And with that, Henry once again hit the retry button knowing that he'll have to make a very hard decision.
