Chapter 6

Looking at google maps, we have at least 7 more hours of driving if the traffic is good. After eating I feel as if I could take a nap but the closer we get to Florida, the more nervous I get.

I've imagined just about every situation. What if they are going to be there when I get there and it's a set up?

Cole seemed to notice my growing nerves. "Hey are you okay? You look pretty pale."

I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. "I'm alright, don't worry about it."

I was currently in the drivers seat and the music was quietly playing in the background. "Get some sleep Cole, ill wake you when we are close."

Thankfully he just nodded his head and didn't fight me. I had no ambition to argue or even be bitchy. Simply put I had a million things on my mind and was worried.

What am I going to do about Cole? What will I tell him. How do I explain to him why my family hates him? What the hell was I thinking when I let him go!?? No turning back now... I hate him but I need him to like me.

I'll just have to make something up...
