My alarm was going off beside me and my head was screaming from my hangover. The water i drank last night did nothing to help. I was in no mood to go to school. After a long car ride and now this hangover all i wanted to do was sleep all day. I groaned and slammed my fist down on the alarm clock that flashed 6 am in bright red numbers. I watched it glitch before turning to a black display. Ugh i broke another alarm clock. Great id have to buy another one.
I walked over to the bathroom and my hair was a mess and my eyes had dark circles under them. Quickly i splashed some water on my face and ran my fingers through my hair. Screw brushing it today. Rummaging through my closet i found a pair if yoga pants and Jordans oversized, old grey sweatshirt. Im sure i looked like a disaster in comparison to my usual outfits. Today i was in no mood for effort.
I padded down the hallway and knocked on Cole's door. Peaking my head in i found him passed out in only his boxers. He was sleeping face down away from me. For someone who is such an ass he has an amazingly toned body. I shook my head and went over and jabbed him in the side rudely telling him to wake up. He greatly protested but rolled over and sat up and ran his fingers through his dark finger length hair. I had to turn away and walk out of the room to stop from eyeing him up. If only he could be ugly i thought to my self.
In the kitchen I grabbed the eggs out of the fridge and milk. Grabbing a cup i cracked some eggs into in and poured a splash of milk in.
"Why are you putting those in a cup?" I jumped and nearly dropped the jug of milk. I scowled over at him and he laughed and than grabbed his head. I noticed he looked like crap too.
"Im going to drink them?" I said in a matter of fact tone.
"Gross who does that?" He had an appalled look on his face like i was about to eat a bunch of kittens.
"Its a great source of nutrients and a quick breakfast."
"Can't you just cook them like a civilized person?"
"Cooking the eggs actually takes a lot of the nutrients out so no." I pointed at the cupboards. "There's cereal and protein bars in there. Otherwise feel free to cook whatever."
"Thanks."
I gulped my eggs down and rinsed out the glass, filling it with water. I grabbed another glass and filled it handing it to him and a couple pain killers. "Hangover?"
"Yeah, you?"
"Yup its great."
He walked over to the cupboards digging through them. His face turned into a big frown. "There's nothing decent in here to eat. How do you function eating this crap?"
Oh no he did not just insult my food choices. "What!? Those cupboards are overflowing in food. Don't be so damn picky."
"Its all flavorless, health nut food. Where's the sugary cereals and junk food? Im sure you have a stash somewhere."
He was right i did. There was a stash of pop-tarts above the stove but i wasn't about to tell him that.
"Your body would function better if you ate better."
Before i knew it he was going through every cupboard on a mission to find something sugary. If i didn't tell him where my stash was i was pretty sure he was going to resort to eating brown sugar from the canister.
"Above the stove."
"Huh?" He made an unintelligent response, so i pointed to above the stove. As he opened the cupboards he burst into a huge grin. He looked like a child in a candy store as he jumped up and down.
