After a long and slightly stressful drive, we pulled up in front of my aunts house. If you can even call the mansion a 'house'. Either way its the closest thing to home ive ever had. Without looking i knew Cole was bouncing in the seat next to me. If only he knew the faces hed see wouldnt be overly welcoming. An hour before we arrived i stopped at a gas station and called Bonnie while Cole was inside. I gave her a heads up and she wasnt upset but wasnt overpy happy either, but i understood. Told her to be nice. She knows my plan, she doesnt approve but she gets why im doing what i am to Cole. Two wrongs dont make a right, but i feel i deserve some justice.

Before we stepped out i told Cole not to talk to much and do as i say. As expected he protested but i just gave him the look that said id suggest youd listen or youll truly regret it. I left our bags in the car and walked inside. Hopefully Cole couldnt tell how nervous i was. The moment i walked in the door Jordan yelled my name. He was running towards me with the biggest smile id ever seen on his face. I met him half way and jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. It felt as if i hadnt seen him in years. He crushed me in a tight hug. "Ive missed ya Zone."

Who knew id miss him so much? "I missed you more! But you wont get to see me again if you suffocate me!"

He laughed and let me go. Jordan snaked his arm around my waist and went to drag me to where everyone was until he noticed Cole still standing in the door way. When i seen Jordan id forgotten all about Cole. He stood there with a look of envy on his face.

"Cole green isnt a flattering color on you. Jordan, this is Cole and Cole, this is Jordan. Now that introductions are nearly done, lets go see everyone else."

Bonnie and Ryler were sitting on the back deck talking and almost didnt hear us walk up. Nothing has changed much since i left. Their faces lit up and they jumped up and hugged me asking a thousand and one questions about school.

"Is this 20 questions??One at a time!"

I couldn't help but laugh whole heartedly. Its been awhile since ive genuinely laughed. My guard was still some what up because Cole was here but my stress about all melted away seeing the smiles on my families faces.

I introduced Cole but not much was said about his presence. My family was nice but not overly chatty with him. Bonnie went and got everyone a drink. She handed me a screw driver (orange juice and vodka) and winked at me because everyone else just had orange juice. Guess she thought id need it which wasnt very reassuring. At least it wasn't a set up, at least i hope not. I dont think my aunt would do that to me. Im probably overthinking it...

We all sat and talked about what we'd each been up to since i left. About an hour passed and Bonnie had a serious look cross her face.

"Ryler, Jordan, why dont you show Cole around while Kenz and I talk for awhile."

The guys just looked at one another and nodded their heads. "Lets show Cole the shed"

Bonnie waited for the guys to dissappear before she started. "When i got the envelope in the mail, at first i thought it was sent to the wrong person. Maybe im jumping to extremes or assuming but try not to freak out. I didnt ask you to come here to hurt or upset you, but i aslo didnt think it was appropriate to tell you on the phone. I thought about not telling you but its not my right to do so."

I was sick to my stomach and shaking but remained call. Even though I didn't know what to expect, i knew things would work them selves out. They usualy do.

Aunt bonnie picked up a card off the table and handed it to me. When i opened it i found a basic granduation invitation card saying 'Youre invited' and so on, on it. The pictures was a family of 3 smiling. They looked truly happy. Before i asked who the people were, i slightly recognized 2. I figured the man and woman were my supposed "parents". As for the girl who looked a lot like me, i didnt know who she was.
