I arrived back home only a few minutes before Cole knocked on the door. The timing was perfect. I yelled for him to come in, as i was touching up my makeup. This time i put on some red lipstick. I knew it would drive Cole crazy.

As i came down the hall, Cole had his back to me. He wore a black pair of dress pants and a black button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up. There's nothing sexier than a sharp dressed man. It makes me week at the knees. Hopefully he didn't notice how crazy it made me. When he turned around his jaw nearly hit the floor.

"Wow.. you look absolutely stunning in that dress." His eyes roamed from head to toe but stopped at my exposed thigh.

"Not so had yourself." I winked over my shoulder and opened the door to leave. I was excited to see where he was taking me. We've never gone out on what i would remotely consider a date. Usually it was the movies or bowling, nothing fancy. Ive never been on a date before. Even though he didn't ask me on one, I'm secretly considering it one.

I let Cole open up his car door for me. As i slid into the leather seat, i enjoyed how his car smelt just like him. In a way i was nervous as to what to expect.

"Where are you taking me?" In response he shook his head and told me to wait and see. The drive was only 15 minutes long but it felt like longer.

We arrived at a very extravagant and high end restaurant. It was similar to the one that i was at earlier. Cole came around and opened my door for me like a complete gentleman. I offered him a smile and stepped out.

Cole walked me through the front doors and immediately I was in awe over the interior. The restaurant was dimly lit and smelled of Italian food. It smelled heavenly. Italian food is secretly my favorite. The interior was filled with tables with black table clothes with candles in the middle. All the accents were gold and burgundy. The restaurant was gorgeous.

"Cole what a surprise!" The hostess exclaimed while glancing between Cole and I. My face scrunched up in confusion. Maybe she was one of Cole's girls in the past. I wouldn't put it past Cole. Her hair was platinum blonde and she had light makeup. She definitely didn't seem like one of his usual endeavors.

The hostess sat us at a table towards the back that was more private. "Can i grab you something to start of with Cole."

Cole named off some fancy wine. As we sat down I couldn't help but admire how handsome Cole looked tonight. The hostess came back and poured us both a glass of white wine.

"Thank you." We both said in sync and we grinned at each other.

"This reminds me of the night we came back from Florida." I voiced my thoughts as sipped on my wine. I could only imagine how much this costs. Cole smiled and looked off in thought himself.

Glancing down at the menu i found that my observations were right, it is an Italian restaurant. It didn't take me long to decide on an alfredo. I decided i would top it with shrimp. Ive never had it before, but i heard it's wonderful.

Cole and i both placed our orders and the waiter ducked into the kitchen. My stomach growled in anticipation. The salad i had from earlier didn't do much to fill me up.

Bringing my attention back towards Cole, i found him staring at me with a goofy look of adoration on his face. I couldn't help but blush under his gaze. Hopefully he couldn't tell in the dim lighting.

"What?"

"I've never seen you smile so much. You should smile more often Kenz. You're beautiful." His tone was so sincere, my heart couldn't help but melt. My blush deepened and i looked away from him.

For a moment i was quiet before speaking. "I've never been taken out before." I mumbled.

"I find that hard to believe. A girl as remarkable as you had to have been asked out a lot." Cole was frowning like what i said was so hard to believe.

"Honestly, it's the truth."

"Well I'm honored to be the first one to take you out." He gave me one of his breath taking smiles and took a sip of his wine.

I seen the waiter coming our way and my eyes glowed with excitement, causing Cole to chuckle.

"I've never had shrimp, I've heard it's wonderful." I hummed and i picked up a piece. As i took a bite my taste buds exploded in pure happiness. Shrimp was so much better than i imagined it to be.

"Im love seeing you so happy Kenz. I will have to take you out more often if it gets you to smile like this."

I grinned but didn't respond because i was to busy enjoying my food. We ate in a peaceful silence.

When i was halfway done with my food my tongue and throat felt scratchy. I drank some of my water but it wasn't helping. Internally i started to panic. My tongue was beginning to feel funny and huge.

"Cole i can't breath." My words came out gobbled and hard to understand. Cole's face immediately filled with panic.

"Shit, you're having an allergic reaction. We need to get you to the hospital." My eyes started to water. For the first time in a long time, i felt genuinely scared and it made me panic more. In turn it only made things worse. Cole rushed me out the door and into his car. I tried to ask him about the bill and some how he understood me.

"Don't worry Kenz, my mother owns the restaurant." He rushed out. He kept glancing between me and the road. As usual i put on my tough facade and reached over and grabbed his hand.

"I'll be okay Cole." My words came out so gargled that you couldn't understand them at all. Cole again managed to understand and offered me a tight lipped smile. At this point my eyes were beginning to swell closed. I didn't let it show but i was miserable and struggling to breath.

Within minutes we were at the hospital and Cole ran around and scooped me up bridal style. Some how he managed to sprint through the front doors with me in his arms. I could no longer see anything and i felt like i was close to blacking out due to my lack of oxygen.
