Chapter 33

Kenzie walked right past me without sparing me a glance. My heart sunk in my chest thinking I somehow upset her. She never bothered to stop at her locker and as she never looked at anyone. Her steps were smooth and calculated. Everyone in the hallway seemed to sense something was coming because they couldn't take their eyes off of her.

She stopped behind Hannah who was digging through her locker. For a moment it seemed as if she was contemplating her actions. These two have had their issues but i have no clue what could have happened now. We just got back from break. Kenzie grabbed a fistful of Hannah's hair and harshly yanked her head back to look her dead in the eyes.

Everyone gasped in shock while Hannah screamed and thrashed around in Kenzie's grasp. The more she tried to free her hair the tighter Kenzie pulled. Her face was still blank but her eyes burned with rage.

"Don't touch me you whore!" Hannah was nothing short of quiet and even more students were starting to gather. Kenzie released her grip and shoved her away. Whatever Kenzie said to her next, her neutral face never changed but Hannah began to laugh.

"How dare you steal what is rightfully mine!" Hannah swung to hit her but she grabbed her arm before in made contact. Kenzie gestured to Hannah's hand but I wasn't close enough to hear anything she said. In a blink of an eye Hannah went sprawling on her butt due to Kenzie's fist connecting with her face.

I was no longer worried that i had done something wrong, but i was pissed Hannah had her all worked up again. She acted like nothing happened and pushed through the  crowd of gossiping students. I swear there's never a dull moment at this school with her around. Kenzie went straight into the main office slamming the door behind her, with me running after her.

I knew as well as she did that she was going to be expelled. There was no way he'd allow her to stay after punching Hannah twice now. Kenzie really needs to find a better outlet for her anger like yelling. By the time i got there The principles door was closed and i could hear muffled shouting inside.

After a few minutes the door flew open and Kenzie looked livid. Her cheeks were flushed and her breathing uneven but as always a neutral face. I tried to stop her to ask her what happened but she side stepped me like i was nothing and walked away. My heart ached to comfort her right now but thats not what she needs, she needs to keep going to school here.

Without thinking i barged into the principles office letting the door bounce off the wall. "Who the hell do you think you are expelling Kenzie!"

"Cole i will suspend you if you continue speaking to me in this manner! She knew the consequences of her actions." His face was bright red in anger. I only had one plan and i prayed it worked.

"I suggest you un expel her or you will regret it." My patience was nearly gone if i even had any in the first place.

"Don't you dare threaten me boy, or you will regret it!" He now leaned over his desk but it wasn't intimidating like he thought. I gave him a dry humorless laugh. It would take only a few phone calls to wreck his life.

"You and i both know you didn't buy your fancy car and gated house on a teachers salary. If you don't un expel Kenzie i will make sure everyone knows you embezzle money from the money my father donates to keep this school running. You'll spend a good amount of time behind bars, always struggling to find a job after you get out." My voice was lowered and i was now face to face with him.

"One weeks suspension but if it ever happens again, there won't be any more chances. Got it?" I could hear his teeth grinding as he clenched his jaw.

"Loud and clear." I rolled my eyes and stormed out. I don't know who he thinks he is kidding. Now to gather all of her homework and see what had her so riled up.
