"How are the wedding preparations going?" Lucia asked,

"They're going well," Chiara said, a smile tugging at her lips. "The money for the wedding dress was sent to me."

"That's good," Lucia said, "You must be excited!"

"Of course," Chiara said "This is the day I've been dreaming of."

"You're happy for another reason too, aren't you?"

"Yes, I am," Chiara said, a sly smile playing on her lips. "I'll be able to get my revenge, and I'll finally be able to see my brother again."

"I hope it all goes according to plan, I know how much you've been looking forward to this."

"I appreciate your concern,"

"Alessandro's wife is really hot," Matteo said

"What do you mean by that?" Luca asked

"Don't you watch the videos that go viral on social media?" Matteo asked

"Of course I do," Luca said "But when did you start talking to me like this? Last I checked, we weren't exactly on good terms."

"I'm just trying to be friendly," Matteo said

"Friendly, my foot," Luca said "You have some other agenda, and I won't be a part of it. You're better off looking elsewhere."

"I'm serious," Matteo said "I've changed. You can trust me."

"I doubt that very much," Luca said "You'll have to do a lot more to prove that to me."

"I know I was a really bad person, but..." Matteo started to say,

"You're still a bad person, as far as I'm concerned," Luca said,

"Luca, believe me," Matteo said, his voice pleading. "I'm serious. I'm not in the Mafia anymore. I'm done with all that."

"That's hard for me to believe," Luca said. "You'll have to prove it to me."

"All I know is that I'm not going to fight Alessandro again," Matteo said,

"Why the sudden change of heart?" Luca asked. "You've always wanted to be the boss. You know that, right?"

"I know," Matteo said. "But everything changed when my mom killed Helen. It made me realize that I don't want to be part of that life anymore."

"I get that," Luca said,

"How's the wedding preparation going?" Matteo asked

"Great!" Luca said, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"Claire, don't worry," Massimo said,"I will get revenge for you. I will kill all of them who killed you. I'm already getting close to him. You see, he's about to wed. I will not let him live a happy life. I will get my revenge for you, Claire. I really miss you so much."

As Massimo spoke, he could almost hear Claire's voice in his head, telling him to stop and move on with his life. But he couldn't.

{ ON THE WEEDING DAY}

Alessandro stood at the altar, his hands clasped in front of him. His expression was cold and dangerous, but there was a hint of anticipation in his eyes. He looked handsome, his dark hair styled perfectly and his tailored suit fitting him to perfection. His hands were strong and his stance was confident, belying the fact that he was about to marry someone he barely knew.

As Chiara entered the room, everyone gasped. She was wearing a stunning black wedding gown, its simplicity only enhancing her natural beauty. The dress was made of the finest silk, and it flowed around her like a second skin. Her hair was swept up in an elegant updo, exposing the graceful curve of her neck. She wore little makeup, letting her natural beauty shine through. She was a vision of grace and sophistication, and everyone in the room was in awe of her.
