Lucia woke up to find herself lying on a hospital bed, her head wrapped in bandages. She felt groggy and disoriented, unsure of how she had gotten there.

"Where's Chiara?" Lucia said. "Is she safe?"

"Hey, you're awake!" a voice said, and Lucia turned to see Luca standing by the door, a concerned look on his face.

"Tell me, where's Chiara?" Lucia asked again

"Don't you remember what happened?,You hit your head pretty hard."

Luica tried to think, but her head was throbbing and she couldn't focus. What had happened? She struggled to remember, but everything

"I remember we were talking in the sitting room,And then I went to the kitchen to get some water. That's all I can remember."

"Nothing else?" Luca asked, his brow furrowed.

"No, but what about Chiara?,Is she okay?"

"I don't know,"

"What do you mean?"

"Chiara has been kidnapped,I don't know when or where, but I know it's serious."

"What?,How could this have happened? We have to find her!"

"Hey, calm down," Luca said. "We'll figure this out, but we need to be clear-headed. Panicking won't help."

"Please, please save her,I need to know she's safe."

"I will,I promise. We'll do everything we can to find her."

He wrapped his arms around her, and Lucia felt herself relax, just a little. She knew Luca would do everything he could to help, but she couldn't shake the feeling of dread in the pit of her stomach.

FEW HOURS AGO🥱

Rosalba was sitting in the hospital room with Lillian, who was lying on the bed.

"You're awake!" Rosalba exclaimed

"What are you doing here?" Lillian said, "You don't belong here."

Rosalba smirked as she stood up from her chair."Calm down, Lillian, It's good that you're alive and not dead. Now we can talk."

Lillian narrowed her eyes, clearly not convinced. "What do you want?"

"What I want is to kill the person who betrayed me,Which is you. We had a perfect plan to kidnap Chiara and Lucia, but you messed it up by kidnapping Lucia alone. And now look what's happened. Everything is falling apart."Rosalba laughed, a cruel and mocking sound.

"Rosalba, get out!" Lillian yelled

"I should get out," Rosalba said, her tone mocking. "But not before I kill you first."

She grabbed Lillian by the neck, squeezing with all her strength. Lillian struggled, trying to break free, but Rosalba was too strong. Lillian's vision began to blur, and she could feel herself losing consciousness.

"Betrayers always die," Rosalba hissed,"You deserve to die."

Rosalba continued to strangle Lillian, even as Lillian's body went limp and her breathing stopped.

Rosalba smiled in satisfaction as she felt Lillian's life slip away. Just then, her phone buzzed with a message.

💬"Let's meet," it read.

Rosalba took her phone "Goodbye to bad riddance," Rosalba muttered, her lips curling into a smile.And put on her nose mask. Then she turned and left the hospital, her steps light and quick.
