"You should stop working for now," Lucia said

"Why?" Luca asked,

"Because you beat up Diego, and you don't know how dangerous he is,"

"I'm not scared of him,"

"You should be," Lucia said, her brow furrowing with worry.

"I don't want to be worried,"

"Do you even know who Diego is?" Lucia asked, her eyes wide with disbelief.

"And do you know who I am?" Luca shot back "I don't think you do, so don't worry about me."

"Who do you think you are?" Luica demanded. "You'd better listen to me and take a break for now."

"Who am I? I'm Luca, and I'm not going to stop working here."

"Mom, why did you want to see me?" Matteo asked, his tone curious.

"Shut up, you fool," Maria snapped, "The company's anniversary is approaching."

Matteo raised an eyebrow, "So?"

"What do you mean 'so?' It's when the CEO of the company will decide who to promote," Maria yelled,

"No, not this again, We all know Alessandro is going to be the new CEO of the company."

"You're a fool, you need to steal the company's files and documents to become the CEO ," Maria yelled,

"Mother, I'm not going to stoop to that level,"

"You have to fight for it, or will you just sit back and watch your brother take your place?"

"Position?" Matteo said."You and I both know I don't have a position there. There's no point in fighting for something that was never mine in the first place."

"Shut up, you idiot," Maria said, "I've worked hard for this. I've been through so much. I'm not going to let you ruin everything I've worked for."

"Mother haven't you done enough? Please, just back off."

"No, I won't back off," Maria said,"This is too important to me. I won't let you throw it all away."

"Mum, stop," Matteo said,. "Please, before you regret it."

"You're not the son I know anymore, I don't care if you're interested in this or not. You're going to be the CEO of the company, whether you like it or not."

"Mother look at me, You can't blame me for not being interested anymore. Please, just leave."

"I'll go, but I want you to know that this company is going to be mine soon,"

"Keep dreaming, mother, You're dealing with Alessandro here. You can't win."

Maria smirked. "Let's watch and see, then, We'll see who wins in the end."

"I have to do this," Elena whispered to herself, her eyes scanning the room. She had to find what she was looking for, no matter what.

She crept into Alessandro's office, her heart pounding in her chest. She looked around, trying to find what she was looking for.

"Where could it be?" she mumbled, frustrated. She was sure she had seen it in there before.

She continued to search, but after what felt like hours, she still hadn't found it. She was starting to get desperate.

Elena's eyes lit up as she spotted the documents, hidden in a drawer under Alessandro's desk. She quickly slipped them under her coat and hurried out of the office.

"I'm sorry, but I had to do this to save my family," she whispered to herself, her heart racing. She had to get out of there before she was caught.

"Boss, Elena is here to see you," Giovanni said, his voice low.

"Let her in," Massimo said, his voice gruff. He puffed on his cigarette, the smoke curling around him.

Elena entered the room, her heart pounding in her chest. She could feel Massimo's eyes on her, and she fought to keep her composure.

"I hope you brought it this time around," Massimo said, his voice cold

"Yes, I did," Elena said, trying to sound confident. She held out the documents, her hands trembling.

Massimo took the documents and looked through them, his expression unreadable.

"Are you sure it's real and not fake?" Massimo asked,his voice hard.

"Yes, I'm sure," Elena said,

"Good," Massimo said, his tone flat. He took a long drag of his cigarette, the smoke billowing around him.

"Will my family be safe now?" Elena asked, her voice trembling. "Will you not kill them?"

Massimo fixed her with a cold, hard stare. "You don't tell me what to do, Get out."

"But...," Elena started to say.

"Don't 'but' me, When I say 'get out,' you obey. You follow my rules, and don't think that our deal is over. If I need you, I'll call you. Now get out."

Elena felt like she had been slapped. Her face burned with shame and humiliation, and she hurried out of the room, not daring to look back.

As the door closed behind her, she could feel Massimo's cold, hard stare burning into her back.

"Now I've got what I wanted, Fabrizio's company now belongs to me, and with this, I'll bring Alessandro down. This is just the beginning."
