Alessandro moved closer to Chiara and gently kissed her on the forehead. As he did, her eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at him.
"How are you feeling?" he asked
Chiara blinked a few times, trying to focus on his face. "I... I don't know,"
Alessandro brushed a strand of hair from her forehead "It's going to be okay,"
"I'm really sorry,I shouldn't have acted like that. I was being stupid."
"Shhh, It's all in the past, okay? Let's just move forward."
Chiara nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
"Did you mean it?" Alessandro asked, his eyes searching her face.
"What?" she finally asked
"You said you've never loved me," Alessandro said
Chiara didn't respond, her eyes downcast.
"It's okay, I have some good news,"
"What is it?" Chiara asked
"You're pregnant," Alessandro said, a huge smile on his face.
Chiara's eyes widened in surprise, and she reached a hand to her stomach. "Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure," Alessandro said, taking her hand in his.
"I'm so happy, I'm going to be a mother."
"Yes, you are, Thank you."
"For what?" Chiara asked
"For carrying my child, I love you." Alessandro said,
Chiara said nothing, but a slow smile spread across her face. Alessandro leaned forward and kissed her gently on the lips.

As Lillian opened the door, she was startled to see Luca standing there, his eyes dark and angry."Gosh, you scared me," Lillian said
"I told you to stay away from my business,But you never listen." Luca said.
Lillian took a step back, her heart pounding in her chest"What are you talking about?" Lillian asked
"Don't you dare ask me that!" Luca shouted
"Luca,Just calm down. also what are you doing here at my house how did you get in "
"I'll calm down when you answer my question!, How dare you question me!"
"Luca, I don't understand," Lillian yelled,
"You set me up, didn't you?" Luca yelled, his fists clenched at his sides.
"I..." Lillian began, her voice trailing off.
"Don't lie to me!, I know everything. Diego told me everything."
"Yes, I did, So what? Are you going to kill me?" Lillian asked
Luca's grip on her neck tightened. "I hate it when people meddle in my business,You're really stepping on my toes, and I'm going to make you pay for it."
Lillian's heart was pounding in her chest, her breath coming in short gasps. "stop," she pleaded. "you are hurting me"
"The next time I come here, I'm going to bring a gun,And I'm going to shoot you right in the head. So it's better for you to stay as far away from me as possible." Luca said
With that, he released his grip on her neck and walked out the door, leaving Lillian standing there, shaking and trembling.

"You've been drinking too much, I think you should stop."Isabella said
"I'm useless, I deserve to die." Matteo said
"I don't know what you're going through, But you need to stop drinking"
Matteo looked up at her, his eyes bloodshot and haunted. "I can't," he said, his voice barely a whisper.
"Matteo, you need to stop this," Isabella said,
"I am a murderer, I deserve to die. I really am a monster. She will never forgive me."
"You are not a murderer, and you are not a monster,You have made mistakes, but you can be forgiven. You can change."
"It wasn't a mistake, I did it out of my own stupidity and ignorance."
"It's okay,You're not a bad person. You're just human, and you've made some mistakes."Isabella said As Matteo leaned into her embrace, his head resting on her shoulder.

Rosalba entered the room, carrying a bag.
"What are you doing here?" Chiara asked
"This is my house, remember?" Rosalba said,
"You're crazy, You can't just barge in here like this." Chiara said
"Watch me," she said, her tone challenging.
"Get out of here right now!Before I ask the guards to throw you out!" Chiara yelled
"You wouldn't dare!" Rosalba shouted back
"You think I can't? What even gives you the guts to come here?"
"Oops, I guess Alessandro didn't tell you," Rosalba said
"Tell her what?" Alessandro asked, a look of confusion on his face as he entered the room.
"Sweetheart, you're here!" Rosalba said, her eyes lighting up as she saw him.
"Sweetheart?" Chiara exclaimed "Are you crazy?"
Rosalba gave her a wink"No, I'm not crazy,I have some good news to share. I'm pregnant, and the baby is Alessandro's."
"What?" Chiara exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock.
"Did he not tell you?. We spent some time together the night he came home late. I'm surprised he didn't mention it." Rosalba asked
"You're lying!" Chiara said
"Ask him yourself!" Rosalba said
"Enough!" Alessandro said, his voice cold and sharp. "Rosalba, stop this madness and get out of my house."
"No, I'm not going anywhere, This is my house! I belong here!"
"Tell me it's not true," Chiara said, her voice pleading with Alessandro. "Please, tell me it's not true."
Alessandro's eyes met hers, "Chiara, we'll talk about this later,"
"There's nothing to talk about, She's pregnant with your baby! You cheated on me!" Chiara snapped
"That's enough! Chiara , show me the way to my room."
"There's no room for you here,So leave." Alessandro yelled
"Are you kidding?, Your father knows about this already. He gave me permission to come and live with you. I guess you don't want to be on his bad side, and you won't want to hurt me and the baby." rosalba said
