"What am I doing to myself?" Chiara thought, her head spinning. "I just want revenge. Why am I even throwing myself at Alessandro? It has to stop."
She sat on her bed, her head in her hands.
"But if I want revenge, I need to win his trust, which I already have. Should I poison him? Should I confront him?" she asked herself.
Chiara opened her drawer and took out the small vial. She held it in her hand, the liquid inside glistening in the light.
"I think I should start using this on him," she thought to herself. "At least he'll experience a slow and painful death."
Just as she was about to close the drawer, the door opened and someone entered the room. Chiara quickly hid the vial and turned around, trying to look innocent.
"Ma, Mr. Alessandro wants to see you," Lil, the maid, said, bowing her head respectfully.
"Okay, I'll be right there,"
Chiara entered Alessandro's study room without knocking.
"What did you want to see me for?" she asked, sitting down in a chair opposite him.
"You should learn how to knock," Alessandro said,
"You know what?" Chiara said, her voice rising. "You should be the one to come to my room. You're the one who wants to talk, so I wasted my precious time to come here and be insulted by you. I'm out of here."
She stood up and started to walk out of the room, but Alessandro's voice stopped her."Wait, Before you leave here," Alessandro said, dropping a bag on the floor.
Chiara turned to face him, her arms crossed over her chest."What's that for?"
"There's a company anniversary party tonight, and I want you to wear that," Alessandro said, gesturing to the bag.
Chiara picked up the bag and looked inside, her eyes widening in surprise.
"A dress?" she asked, turning to look at Alessandro.
"Yes, wear that, You can leave now."
Chiara let out a huff and stormed out of the room, the door slamming behind her.

Paola rushed to the bathroom, feeling sick to his stomach.
"This is getting too much," Vittoria said,
"Babe, you're pregnant," Mai said, her eyes wide.
"I'm not pregnant," Paola said, shaking her head.
"Here, take this pregnancy test," Vittoria said, handing her the small box.
"For what" Paola asked
"What do you mean, to confirm that you're pregnant?" Vittoria asked, confused.
"Hurry up and go," Mai urged.
Paola entered the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
Ten minutes later, she emerged, looking pale.
"So, what's the result?" Vittoria asked, her voice trembling.
"I don't know," Paola said, her voice cracking. "Maybe you should check."
Mai reached for the test, her hands shaking. She looked at the result and gasped.
"Positive," she said, her eyes wide. "Oh, my god."
