Chiara carried the glass of wine towards Alessandro, her heart beating fast. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves.As she approached him, she froze, her mind racing.

She looked down at the glass of wine in her hand, and to her horror her hand start to shake She felt the glass give way, and it shattered, the red liquid spilling out onto the floor.

Alessandro rushed to her side. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Chiara said. "I just got a little carried away. I'm okay."

"You don't look okay, Is there something on your mind?"

"I'm fine, I promise, Let me clean this up, and we can forget about it, okay?"

"Alright, don't worry about it, Just go and get some rest. I'll clean this up."

Chiara nodded, trying to hold back her tears. She turned and walked to her room, closing the door behind her.She collapsed on her bed, tears streaming down her face.

"I had the chance, the opportunity," Chiara sobbed, her voice muffled by the pillow she was clutching. "I could have killed him, and I didn't. Why? What's wrong with me? Why can't I do it?"

A knock sounded at the door, and Chiara took a deep breath, trying to compose herself."Who is it?" she called,

"It's me, Alessandro," came the reply.

"Come in," Chiara said,

The door opened, and Alessandro stepped inside, his eyes full of concern."Are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine,"

"If you're sure,I'll just go then."

As he turned to leave, Chiara reached out and grabbed his arm."Wait, Stay. Please."

Alessandro hesitated for a moment, then he nodded, and laid down beside her.Chiara leaned over and kissed him gently on the lips.Alessandro returned the kiss, his heart thudding in his chest.

"I am big fool, my heart betrayal me I must admit I am in love with him" Chiara thought to herself

"Hi, Aunty!" Lillian said,

"Oh, Lillian!" Maria exclaimed, "It's so good to see you!"

"It's good to see you too, Aunty," Lillian said

"when did you return"

"I arrived a few days ago," Lillian replied, releasing Maria from the hug and maria gesturing for her to sit down. "How have you been?"

Lillian took a seat and smiled.

"How was your journey here? And how are your parents doing?"

"The journey was fine," Lillian said, a smile on her face. "And my parents are doing well, thank you."

"That's great to hear," Maria said, "So, what brings you back here?

"Actually, I'm back to marry Luca, Is he home?"

"No, he's not home,"

"I went to his office, but he wasn't there," Lillian said

"That's not  strange, Luca doesn't work in the office anymore. He works at a bar now."

Lillian was taken aback. "A bar?"

"A bar, and he's working with a woman? And they are very close, That's the latest I've heard."

"A bar?" Lillian repeated, "And he's working with a woman?"

Maria smiled. "Yes, a bar, and a woman, from what I hear. You okay?"
