When she woke up, she was lying on a cold, hard floor. Her head was throbbing, and she could barely see."You're finally awake," Massimo said
"What do you want?" Elena asked, her voice shaking.
"What do I want?" Massimo repeated, "Are you seriously asking me that?" His tone sent a chill down Elena's spine.
"Elena, where is the fucking document I asked you to get for me?" Massimo shouted, his voice booming off the walls.
"I'm... I'm still working on it, boss," Elena stammered, her heart racing.
"Still working on it?,And you have time to flirt around with Sebastiano?" Elena felt her cheeks grow hot.
"I wasn't flirting with him," Elena protested, her voice wavering.
"Oh, really?, So he just happened to drop you off at home then?"
"That's not what happened!"
"You're not fooling me, Elena, I'm giving you one week to get me those documents. Otherwise, your mother and sister will pay the price."
Elena sank to her knees and crawled towards Massimo, desperation in her eyes. "Please, don't hurt my mother and sister," she begged. "I'll get you the documents, I promise."
Massimo's laugh was cold and cruel. "You have one week," he said, his voice a dark whisper. "If I don't see those documents when I come back, I'll kill you myself."
Massimo straightened, giving Elena one last look of contempt before he turned and left the room.
Elena slumped against the wall, her chest heaving. She felt sick to her stomach, her heart pounding in her chest.
★★★"Rosalba, have you seen what you've done?" Claudia yelled, her eyes blazing. "You've made a complete fool of yourself!"
"What do you mean?"
"The scene you caused at Alessandro's office is all over the news!" Claudia said, waving her phone at Rosalba. "You've embarrassed yourself in front of the whole city!"
Rosalba's stomach dropped. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. She grabbed the phone from Claudia's hand and stared at the screen, her heart racing.
"And not only that, you've lost a million followers to Chiara," Elisa said, stepping into the room.
"What?!" Rosalba yelled, her voice cracking. She checked her phone again, her hands shaking. Sure enough, she had lost a million followers, and Chiara had gained them.
"This can't be happening!" Rosalba wailed, throwing her phone across the room.
"This is your own doing, Rosalba," Claudia said
"What are you going to do?" Elisa asked, her eyes wide.
"What do you mean?, You're not going to leave Alessandro alone, are you?"
"Never!" Rosalba said "It's either me or nobody."

"There was no need for you to do that," Luica said, a slight smile on her face. "I could have walked home by myself.""I know," Luca said, a sheepish look on his face. "But I wanted to."
"You're always so sweet," Luica said, her voice soft.
Luca blushed, "So," Luica said, giving Luca a playful nudge. "For someone as handsome as you are, you're single?"
"Yes, I haven't met the right woman yet."
Luica raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" she said, a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Are you sure you're looking in the right places?"
Luca laughed, his nerves disappearing. "Maybe not, But I'm open to suggestions."
"Okay then,"
"So, what about you?" Luca asked, turning the question around. "Why are you still single?"
"I guess he is yet to notice me ."
Luca nodded, understanding. "But have you ever had anyone that you liked, but they didn't like you back?"
Luica thought for a moment, then nodded. "Yes,"
Luica was walking along the road when a motorcycle came speeding towards her, swerving dangerously close. She froze, afraid that she was about to be hit, when suddenly,
Luca's arms wrapped around her and pulled her close. She felt the warmth of his body against hers, and she looked up into his deep blue eyes.
"Are you okay?" he asked, concern etched on his face Luica nodded, not trusting herself to speak.
"Thank you," she finally managed to say.
"You're welcome," Luca said, a gentle smile on his face. He released his hold on Luica, but their eyes remained locked on each other.
They continued walking in silence, their smiles growing wider with every step.

Alessandro walked into his study, only to find Chiara standing on top of his desk, dancing."What are you doing here?" he asked,
"Hubby, you're home I was just dancing."
Alessandro glared at her, his jaw set. "Get down,"
Chiara pouted, but she didn't budge. "You're no fun,"
"I have to work, so get down and leave,"
"Nope!" Chiara said, stomping her foot on the table. "I'll keep you company."
"You'll be a distraction!" Alessandro snapped, his eyes flashing. "I said get out!"
Chiara's lower lip trembled, but she stood her ground. "You can't make me!"
Alessandro clenched his fists, his breathing becoming labored. He had to stay calm, or he would lose control.
"Come on, hubby," Chiara said, giving him a coy smile. "Come up here and dance with me."
Alessandro felt his blood boiling. "Are you seriously doing this right now?, I told you to get out!"
"But I don't want to,I want to dance with you."
Alessandro felt like he was losing his mind.
As Chiara danced on the table, she lost her footing and stumbled, her hands flailing as she tried to catch herself. Just as she was about to fall, Alessandro rushed over and caught her, his arms wrapping around her waist. She looked up into his eyes, and they locked gazes for a moment, their breath mingling in the air.
For a moment, everything else faded away, and it was just the two of them, suspended in time. Chiara's heart was racing, and she couldn't tear her eyes away from Alessandro's.
Alessandro blinked, the spell finally breaking, and he pushed Chiara away from him with surprising force. She stumbled backward, falling down on her butt.
"What the hell was that for?" Chiara yelled,
"Get out," Alessandro said. "Now."
"At least help me up,"
"No," Alessandro said, refusing to even look at her. "Just get out."
"I'm not leaving,"
Alessandro let out a frustrated sigh and stormed over to her. He grabbed her arm, ignoring her protests, and dragged her toward the door. He flung it open, still holding on to her.
"You're leaving," he said, his eyes hard. "Now."
Chiara tried to resist, but Alessandro's grip was iron-tight. He shoved her through the door, and it slammed behind her with a deafening finality.
"That bastard!" Chiara muttered to herself as she stood in the hallway.
"But he's so cool, so handsome," she thought, her mind a whirl of confused emotions. "Gosh, what am I thinking? He just humiliated me, shoved me out like I was nothing. Does he even have a heart? Or am I just flat?"
