The room exploded, and colors flew around like a kaleidoscope. Alessandro started laughing, a deep, booming laugh that echoed off the walls.

"What the hell?!" Maria yelled

"You think you can kill me?" Alessandro laughed, his voice booming. "You're a fool - a big fool! You have no idea what you're up against!"

"How did you find out?" Maria asked

Alessandro laughed. "All thanks to your son, Matteo," he said, a sinister smile on his face.

"Alessandro, wait!" Matteo yelled

Alessandro whirled around, his face red with anger."What is it?"

"I know where you're rushing to," Matteo said,

"You know nothing!" Alessandro roared, his fists clenched.

"you  got a text message," Matteo said, his eyes fixed on Alessandro's face. "It said that I know where your mother is."

Alessandro's eyes widened, and he took a step back."How did you know?"

"It was all a setup, My mother texted you, telling you that she knew where my mother was. But it was a set up . She's trying to lure you and your father into a trap."

"What? You're lying!"

"I'm not," Matteo said, holding up his phone. "I have all the messages here. You can see for yourself."

Alessandro move close to him and grab his phone as he read all the messages

"Here's what's going to happen, I'm going to change the bomb she planted with a kaleidoscope. She's planning to set the bomb off today, and I'm going to stop her. I won't let her hurt anyone."

"Why are you helping me?" Alessandro asked

"Because you're my brother,Even though we're on different sides, we're still family. And I don't want to see anything happen to you."

"If I go down, you're going down with me," Maria said, her voice cold and hard. She pointed the gun at Alessandro and pulled the trigger.

But before the bullet could hit him, Fabrizio pushed Alessandro out of the way, and the bullet hit him in the chest.

Alessandro looked up at his father his eyes filled with shock and horror. "father!" he cried.

Fabrizio looked down at him, his eyes filled with pain.

As soon as she fired the gun, Maria ran away, not even looking back. Bianca, meanwhile, was too weak to scream or shout. She just collapsed, her world going black.

The last thing she heard before she lost consciousness was the sound of someone calling her name, a voice that sounded so familiar. But she couldn't place it. Everything went dark.

Massimo burst into Elena's house, his face red with anger.

"What do you want?" Elena asked, her voice shaking.

"I'm here to kill you," Massimo said

"Please, don't kill me!" Elena begged, tears streaming down her face. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you!

"You betrayed me, and now you expect me not to kill you?" Massimo yelled, his voice growing louder and more angry. "You're a fool!"

"For the sake of my family, please!"

"Your family?, Don't worry, they'll join you in heaven soon enough. You know what they say - a traitor doesn't live long."

Tears spilled down Elena's cheeks

"You know what? Sit down."

"Please, don't kill me,I'll do anything, just please don't kill me."

"I hate it when people beg me, I said sit down!"

Elena sank to the ground, her legs shaking.

"You know what?, I'm not going to kill you. But we are going to play a game. It's called Russian Roulette."

Massimo pulled out a gun, pointing it at Elena. "It only has one bullet in it, We'll all take turns pulling the trigger. Whoever the bullet ends up with... well, you know what happens then."

Fabrizio opened his eyes slowly, the world around him a blur. He could hear the steady beeping of the machines around him, the sounds of the hospital all around him.

"You're awake!" Alessandro said

"What about your mum ?" Fabrizio asked, his voice weak and shaky.

"Don't worry about that right now, You need to focus on getting better. You're lucky to be alive."

"Getting better for what"

"How can you say that? There's so much for you to get better for"

"Why are you being so nice to me?, After everything I've made you do."

Alessandro hesitated, his eyes fixed on the ground. "I..." he began,

"I'm really sorry for being a bad father to you, I'm so sorry for not being there for you."

"Please, don't talk, You need to save your strength."

"But I need to say this," Fabrizio said, struggling to catch his breath. "I...I..."

Alessandro waited, watching his father struggle to find the words. He knew that whatever

"Thank you," Fabrizio said, a small smile playing on his lips. "And tell your mother that I'm sorry. I should have believed her."

With that, Fabrizio closed his eyes and took a final, ragged breath. And then he was gone.

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Alessandro,We did everything we could, but we lost him."

As Alessandro walked through the front door of his house, his clothes stained with blood,  Chiara ran up to him.

"Alessandro, are you okay?" she asked

When Sebastiano entered Elena's house, he was greeted by silence.

"Hello?" he called out. "Elena?"

Suddenly, he saw a pool of blood on the floor. Then, he saw Elena lying in the middle of it, a bullet hole in her head.

Sebastiano screamed and ran to her, his hands shaking as he tried to feel for a pulse. But he knew it was too late.

"Elena!" Sebastiano screamed, his voice cracking with emotion. Tears streamed down his face as he knelt beside her body, his hands shaking.
