It took three days for Saanvi to work up the courage and tell Vihaan that it's a yes for the date. During those three days, Vihaan was patient, didn't push her for an answer or didn't make things awkward.
She now stood in front of her mirror, contemplating her outfit. Vihaan didn't tell her where he was taking her. All he said was to dress casual. That didn't help her nerves. She needed to know what, when, where, and how. Vihaan wouldn't give her an answer, and now her anxiety was kicking in. She didn't know if going on a date was a good thing. It would complicate things. She thought to cancel. She could use Tara as an excuse and -, just then her phone went off with a text message.
Hey Saanvi! Hope you're ready. I'll be at your place in 10 minutes.
Okay. Relax, Saanvi. Deep breaths. She calmed her mind.
"Mamma." Tara stood behind her, looking in awe.
"Hi baby, mamma is going out today. How do I look?"
"Vewy pwetty."
"Thanks, baby." She placed a kiss on her daughter's head.
"Mamma, boyfend?" How did her three-year-old daughter know the word boyfriend exists?
"No, Tara, a friend. I'll be back soon."
Her phone went off again with a text message from Vihaan saying he was downstairs. Her heart was now pounding. Furthermore, her palms were sweaty.

Vihaan was equally nervous for their first date. He wanted things to be perfect. He spent a total of eight hours researching on the perfect first date. He didn't want to take her out on a dinner in a posh restaurant just yet. He knew she wouldn't be comfortable. He struck out movies from the list. He wanted to be able to talk to her, not watch a freaking movie. A picnic was too intimate, a coffee was too casual. He finally got the idea to surf her Instagram account. She stopped uploading ages ago, but it was still there. He scrolled until the end to find that his girl like swings and cotton candy. A perfect idea struck him.
