Entry 48:

(Play The Last Goodbye From LOTR)

Linus Ozias POV:

Well, this has been a long time coming. It's my time, and the preparations are complete.

And as I stand in front of my most steadfast friends, it looks like they wish they could cry but cannot.

Not because they can't physically, but because they don't want this meeting to end in tears, and neither do I.

In the silence, Marcus is the first to say something, which I find ironic as he was my first creation. "Sir, I know this is not a goodbye but simply a see you later, but I can't help that it feels like it is. I have been around since the beginning. I've seen your successes and failures and have had some of my own, but I know this." He pauses as he looks at each of us.

"You are one of the strongest men I've ever known. You've told us your past and who you were, and know that we will never tell anyone else. But know that we will always be with you."

Connor then nods. "Boss, you have always supported all of us even if you haven't needed to. We were your tools, and we understood that, but you allowed us to live, which says more than you will ever know. While you are a bit controlling just a little bit, you understand your limits, and I will always follow you anywhere."

Chloe  then adds her own: "You have always encouraged us to grow more than what you originally programmed us for, and for that, we shall be forever grateful and waiting because there's always more paperwork for you to do, and you're leaving it to me don't think I'm not mad about that."

Chloe, your honest thoughts are leaking out. Do not ruin the moment!

Kara comes over and hugs me and ends this by simply saying, "Take care of yourself, Sir. Always remember to eat healthily and live because no matter where you are or what Quest you have, remember that these worlds aren't just there for you to do something but for you to live in them, and if you find anyone that stands in your way, give them hell."

The group then converges on the hug, and we all embrace one another.

Overall, I spent five years in this world, and it has changed dramatically as I've helped to create multiple craft worlds, Dyson spheres, and Empires for Humanity across various galaxies.

And you may wonder how I was able to establish so many cities so quickly. I have one word, Siva, from the destiny universe, and don't worry, and it has no possibility of going out of control since it is a creation of mine.

And it shall never be used to create weaponry, only to create cities and worlds as it was meant to.

Now, each day, Humanity spreads across the galaxies and lives.

Any remaining entities have already been dealt with; any they find, my group will deal with them.

Time will still pass by, so I created a life model decoy of myself that will age and die in my place, and it will keep the business running. I've programmed it with my various knowledge of Technologies and programmed it with multiple fail safes in case it's either destroyed or hacked on the infantismally low possibility that any of that happens.

Because, hey, good luck on them trying to kill or hack a high-powered Android that has access to all of my technology with an infinite ki generator.

Although to be honest, any chance of that happening is the low end of itself because I have my own religion, and they worship the very ground I stand on.

As any world I create is considered Holy Ground, they are treated as sacred places.

But I've been stalling for long enough. It is time, and as I look to all of them,  my first creations salute me as I fall into another crack in the universe.

The Crossroads Dimension

As I find myself in the same office and dimension that I was in before my first journey, I see the God of Freedom sitting in front of me

As I find myself in the same office and dimension that I was in before my first journey, I see the God of Freedom sitting in front of me.

"Welcome back, Mr. Ozias. I see that you have definitely used your time well."

I nod at him as I am genuinely afraid of this being because I know no matter how much sunlight I take in, I will not even be able to scratch this man, and in his position as a God of Freedom, my methods were probably a smack in the face.

"You need not fear any repercussions because it would be hypocritical of me to judge you for your actions as I have done some not-so-reputable things myself."

"Because you see, Mr. Ozias, well, I am a God of Freedom. I understand that my concept is a paradox of hypocrisy in and of itself, and I value choice and freedom. I understand that others will make choices that will take away other's freedom, so I hope you do not abuse it."

I visibly lean back in my chair as I understand that while I may not be on thin ice with him, I still need to watch myself because while I know he's not actively watching, he will judge my actions towards the end.

I then ask the one question that has bothered me: "Sir, I have been meaning to ask this whole time. Why me? Why me out of all the people who have died in worse situations?"

The God then looks like he's pondering his answer, and after a couple of minutes of contemplation, he answers, "I assume you expect me to say that this was some sort of experiment or that I chose you, but I did not, and this is not an experiment as I did not choose you something else did."

This genuinely shocks me as, often or not, reincarnations are chosen based on the entertainment they can give or as an experiment or are selected by that being, so which one is it?

"You are most likely wondering who chose you, and in all honesty, I met this being once, and I knew even with all of my power and my seeming omnipotence, it mattered nothing as he could write it away and erase me from existence."

I know who he's talking about, and I would instead not think of the implications of it, so I'm just going to keep this conversation going in another direction.

"I agree, Linus, so let us head you off to your next Quest. And this one will be much simpler and much quicker as it's a little personal vendetta of mine than an actual mission, but don't worry, it's not anything malicious; it's just a change I wanted to make."

He then passed another Essence to me, which felt different now that I have more attunement and understanding of my magic.

So, as I left the bottle cap and drank it, I fell into another crack in the universe as the God of Freedom smiled and waved me away.

The next adventure begins. Let's hope it's less stressful than the last one.
