Linus Ozias POV:

As I look Olga in the eyes, I simply say, "They are who I consider family, even among my angel brethren, and as such, we are very close." Olga looked at me, almost like Kiyohime, as she asked, "And who are these loved ones of yours?"

I answer truthfully, "Yasaka, a nine-tailed kitsune, Ingvild Levithan, a half-human and half-devil singer, Ophis the Infinite Dragon Goddess, Archangel Gabriel, and a Valkyrie named Rossweisse as well as Gaea from my Earth."

I smile as I mention their names while Olga simply lets go and asks, "Where are they then? In another world safe from all of this?" I nod as Olga continues, "I can never truly repay everything you have done for me, but all I ask is you continue to aid us in this event. You and Ritsuka are all we have."

But after saying all that, she says very quietly, "Am I special to you as well?"

I nod as I place a hand on her head and say, "Do not worry. I will not be leaving any time soon, so you are stuck with me. Remember what I said in Fuyuki? I will always be there for any of you. All you need do is say the word. Consider me that angel on your shoulder."

Olga chuckles as she says, "That is simultaneously terrifying and reassuring, but if I do start seeing small versions of you, I believe I have well and truly lost my mind." I laugh as we sit together in her office, and she simply says, "Thank you for believing in me."

I nod as she allows me to leave. I see Medusa standing there as I say, "I imagine this truth will cause some hatred between us. Knowing your history?" Medusa then beckons. I follow her as we enter her room, which looks like an ancient temple from Greece, and as we enter the large hall, Medusa begins to speak.

"I do not blame you for what has become of me, and while I do find a distaste for deities, I am not so blind as to let my emotions get the better of me, at least for now, if we meet any other versions of myself that may be called into question."

I remained silent and let her continue, "When I was young and came to this temple, I felt loved, I felt valued, and I felt safe. I believed in the Gods, and then I was cast aside and cursed for believing."

I feel her anger grow as she looks at me and says, "Among all the gods I have met and every man I've slain, none have shown me decency, yet even now, I cannot muster up hatred for you. Is this simply because I am a servant? Is it because I have simply grown used to being like this?"

I shake my head as I mention, "While I am not the cause of your punishment, I do feel an inkling of shame for simply being divine and knowing such things occur all across many universes, but I must ask, do you despise me for simply being who I am?"

Medusa stood there silent before she spoke, "You are right. While you may not even be somewhat related to what happened to me. There will always be that small part of me that desires to despise you for simply being divine in nature as a reminder of what I have lost."

But as her anger stops increasing, she states, "We are in this together. You said that before, and out of everyone I've met, I can tell you are not lying. And from what I've seen so far, you take this job seriously, unlike the deities I've met before. But I will be watching, and maybe, just maybe, we may find some common ground."

I respond, "Feel free to do so, as finding a compromise is all I may ask for right now at least, and who knows, we may laugh at this memory eventually like bad comedy." Medusa stares at me as she asks if I may leave, and I oblige her. Her anger is not gone or not even soothed, but for now, having her simply tolerate me is enough.

As I walk through the halls of Chaldea, I find Da Vinci sipping coffee as she takes a break from studying the holy grail I brought from Orleans, and as she sees me, she says, "Hello, Ozias, how are you?" I smile as I say, "I am currently returning from Medusa's quarters, and while she may not like me for what I am, she will tolerate me."
