As I returned to heaven, I dropped off the passed-out Valkyrie in Kyoto while informing Yasaka of what occurred in Asgard, with her gaining an odd gleam in her eye as she smiled and said she would take care of her.

I then arrived at Michael's office to give my report, and he welcomed me inside.

"Brother Anakim, I see you have returned. How was your mission to Asgard?" I then took out my written report and placed it on his desk.

He took it and began to read it and proceeded to slam his head on the table. "Brother Anakim, why do these things happen to you?"

I shrug as I state, "I apologize, brother, but the trouble just seems to follow me like I am a protagonist in that manga Sandalphon reads."

Michael sighs and nods his head as he works on various deployments of the church priests. As with my Iscariots helping Michael deal with the more corrupt members, our control over the church has been reinvigorated.

Not all of the corrupt priests and clergy members are killed, as that punishment is only left for the worst offenders. Most are just taken from their positions or replaced.

Luckily, thanks to the machinery I have given Michael to help with his paperwork, he is not as overwhelmed by it as he used to be.

In addition to the fact that I'm funneling some of it through my order, they can also help deal with it.

And in turn, Michael has had more time to fix the various bugs in the system, and while it is slow going until I take control, he's keeping it together.

As Michael attempts to keep himself from getting an aneurysm from my various exploits, I ask him, " So, Brother Michael, has our warlike brother been located?"

He regains his composure and nods as he states, "Yes, brother, as it seems that you were right about his attempts to steal the holy swords, and they were placed as you asked."

Kokabiel

I nodded, satisfied, as the replacements were given to the Freed replacement and were sent to find Valper Galilei, and luckily, the priest was looking for Freed anyway.

So, with the swords being fakes with trackers in them, Kokabiel will still follow his plan.

"So shall I return to Kuoh Brother Michael?" He nods. "Yes, Brother Anakim and I have already informed the Satans of this development and will stay out of your way while guarding the town."

I nod as I leave the office and contact Serafall. "Lady Serafall are the doppelgangers ready?" I hear her trip over something as she responds, "Yes, Ana-Tan, we have had our siblings removed and replaced with members of Zech-Chan's peerage."

Gotta love devil shapeshifting as all one needs to be given artifacts that hold a particular demon's demonic power and, from a distance, are nearly indistinguishable from their counterparts.

Also, Ana-Tan, really? Whatever, it shows a growing trust, so I shall allow it for now.

"Understood, Lady Serafall. I am on my way to Kuoh now." She then says, "You can call me Sera-Chan. You have earned that right, Ana-Tan, as thanks for your gift and for protecting our siblings."

I sigh as she chuckles while I say, "I will call you Sera-Chan when you stop calling me Ana-Tan," She then shouts, "Never!" as she hangs up.

I laugh at her antics as though it is a disarming trait. She plays it well as she believes in her own act.

I then call 2B to my side as we teleport to Kuoh and wait for Kokabiel to arrive, and with him gone, all shall fall into place.

I could ask Ophis to find him, but he may not even be involved with the Khaos Brigade.

But to make sure, "Ophis, could you come here please?" and within a second, she was on my shoulders, hugging me with the dress I gave her that was not the gothic dress with tape for nipple coverings.

"What is it, New Light? Have you come to offer more sweets?" she asks with those empty eyes as I state while giving her some parfaits, "Could you find Rizevim Lucifer and Euclid Lucifuge for me as they may threaten your food if they can go through with their plan."

Her presence then becomes heavy as she states with the utmost seriousness, "They threaten my food and silence. I will find them, but I expect compensation, New Light."

I nod my head, and she is gone as quickly as she appeared.

Well, depending on how good at hiding the snake is, he will not be a threat. All that remains is gathering the holy sacred gears and reinforcing the seal at the world's end.

I know where it is, but I require the power of God's system to reinforce the seals as a portion of its energy is used to hold it together.

I then call A2 to my side as she appears in her maid dress and ask her to give a report on the town.

"Yes, sir, the town's stray devil population has dropped by over 75% since you left, as with the help of the devil peerages and their empowered members, they have been clearing out nests rapidly." I nod while thinking of why they began to train.

But I assume it results from my presence and the lack of the Red Dragon Emperor. In addition to the aid I gave Kiba and Akeno, it helped motivate them.

I smile as it seems like they are slowly getting better. Kiba is showing genuine smiles, and Akeno seems more at peace.

Koneko is still a work in progress, but once I meet Team Vali, it will be a quick call to Srafall with my evidence, and Kuroka's charges can be cleared.

You all may be wondering why it would be so easy with the conservative Great King faction. It's simple: most of their members were old Satan faction, and their power has significantly diminished with them being outed.

All that is left to keep the Great King faction afloat are various old devil houses and Zekram Bael himself.

But at this point, with my various sleeper agents embedded in almost every faction worldwide, all of them are falling to my strings.

Thanks to my understanding of devil biology, I have been able to sneak replacement devils into the underworld. With the various memory magics, they can be the same person, and no one would know.

Is this cheating a bit? Most definitely, but I abide by the mantra that if you're going into a fight fairly, you're doing something wrong.

Honestly, it was an unfair fight, to begin with, due to all of my advanced technology, but I will take no chances.

So, as I wait, I place the five charges I have into a new defense referred to as corruption defense, as while I may be an angel that is harder to corrupt in future quests, I may not be so I need to prepare.

As I place the charges, I can feel the various impurities of my soul leaving and my mind clearing from doubt and regret.

It is an odd feeling but comforting, a sort of peace building within my soul.

So now I wait for an inevitable showdown with my wayward brother.
