** Dannie's pov **

Flying back to London was a very tiring and boring two hours of my life that I will never get back. I couldn't really take a nap because it would be so short and I would wake up feeling absolutely awful. So that just left me to sit in complete silence as my airpods were completely dead.

I had been home for around five hours at this point and had been just sitting on my couch in my living room. My London apartment was fairly small compared to my New York apartment. It was my first apartment after moving out of my parents house in Bath.

There were a lot of memories here that I treasured more than anything.

Even though I loved this place it was getting too small for the amount of things that I have right now. Plus I think I'm at a point in my life that it is time for change.

I didn't want to leave London at all, it was my home and was very close to the Columbia Records UK location. My current apartment was about thirty minutes away from the building but that wasn't really a game changer for me if I found a new place.

Groaning and throwing my phone down next to me I leaned my head on the back of my couch. For the last two hours plus an hour on the plane I had been trying to finish the song I had started last night before the club.

What were the results of that you ask?

Absolutely nothing!

I had completely written another song in that time however. It wasn't a breakup song which I think my management would be happy about. The vibe was completely different to anything that I had done before.

Standing up I walked towards my kitchen to try and figure out something to eat and try to satisfy the raging hunger in my stomach. When I was writing music I had a terrible habit of completely ignoring my hunger cues. The longest I had gone without eating while writing was when I was helping Harry Styles write "Love Of My Life" for his latest album.

That was around eight hours of straight studio time with only water and tea running through our veins. Being the first time that I worked with him I was just going to use a ghost name, but somehow he had completely convinced me to put my actual name down for the writing credits.

I remembered when the album had come out and how the internet completely exploded when they discovered I had helped write one of the songs on the album.

Anyways, reaching into my fridge and grabbing a portioned out container full of some sort of pasta that my mom had made me I took the lid off and stuck it into the microwave. Growing up with an Italian mother and a French father I was always in the kitchen cooking with them.
