**Dannie's pov**
I had been sitting in an interview on the Zach Sang show and had been having a blast. It was one of my favorite places to have interviews. Zach and his co-host Dan are seriously some of the funniest people I have ever met.
Finally being able to take some deep breaths after Zach made a funny joke about another celebrity controversy, I sighed, "Please, you always make me laugh too hard! I can't laugh too hard with this corset on!" I exclaimed with a playful grimace while hitting my rib cage.
The outfit I had chosen today was definitely on the fancy/casual side. But for some reason I had the smart decision that I would add a little corset type thing around my waist.
Zach smiled and quickly glanced down at his screen before looking up at me with a slight smirk, "Uh oh- whenever you get that grin I have a PR crisis." I groaned.
Dan chuckled, I assumed because he knew what the question was going to be, before Zach took a breath, "You've said before that one of your idols is Sir Lewis Hamilton, a driver from Formula 1 racing." Dannie nodded her head with a slight smile. "What is the big thing about racing for you?" Zach questioned.
I was hoping that I wouldn't go on a rambling rampage about everything I knew about the whole concept but also knowing my brain I knew that it wouldn't go well.
Taking a slight breath in, I readjusted my position, "Okay- so like- I really don't know how to go on about this!" I laughed. Taking a few seconds to gather my thoughts I started gesturing with my hands, "Okay, so there are ten teams and officially twenty drivers in total in the grid, so two for each." they nodded, "The teams are Red Bull, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Ferrari, McLaren, Alpine, Williams, Haas F1 Team, Alfa Romeo, AlphaTauri." they both just nodded again.
"I'm like going to ramble about this if I talk any more about it-" I trailed off, slowly getting more and more embarrassed.
Zach shook his head immediately, "No, no, no! Please keep going, it's interesting to you so it's interesting to us!" quickly reassured me with a kind smile.
I internally decided that I wouldn't say much else but still explain it enough for someone who wasn't into it as much as I was. Smiling at him, "I- okay, well there are 23 races in one season and each position has a different amount of points tied to it. At the end of the season the team with the most points wins the World Championship which is like worth hundreds of millions." I finished rambling and moving my hands around.
A few seconds passed and nobody had said anything, making me feel even more embarrassed than I already did before. Looking directly at Zach I hoped that he would see the desperation in my eyes to say something, but all that I saw was admiration.
It took a few more seconds before he finally spoke, "That is literally one of the coolest things I've ever seen someone talk about. Who's your favorite driver besides Hamilton?" Dan asked me while slightly tilting his head.
Who was my favorite? If I had to pick one singular driver who would it even be?
Slouching my shoulders and brushing back a couple strands of loose hair I let out a sigh, "That is a hard question. But besides Lewis, I would have to say Lando Norris from McLaren. He's one of my favorites on and off the track." I spoke with a kind smile lacing my lips.
It was true. The British racer had been one of the brightest people I had ever seen. Even though I had never met him or really any of the drivers for that matter.
Zach tilted his head, "Have you ever been to a race before? We couldn't find any pictures of you at one when we were doing research on you for this interview." he questioned with a slight squint of his brow.
Letting out a sad sigh and shaking my head, "Sadly I have not. With the busyness of my childhood and then everything with my career there has been no time. I'm hoping to go see the Grand Prix in Monaco next Sunday but I'm not sure if I can get a ticket in time." I explained.
Dan and Zack shared a couple of shocked looks before starting to laugh hysterically, "That has probably been the saddest look I have ever seen in my entire life!" Dan managed to get out over his laugh.
"Stop laughing at me! It's a sad thing!" I yelled out while suppressing my own laugh.
Seriously I loved these guys.
