November 2031.
"Maisie Florence Norris!" the familiar voice echoed out through the busy paddock.
Everyone in the McLaren garage chuckled before going back to what they needed to be done. The name wasn't a new thing for them to be hearing this season. It was the little Norris' first season in the paddock. She wasn't always down in the actual garage with most of her time being spent up in the reserved area for family and special guests.
Following the yell there was a loud childish giggle before heavy footsteps across the floor of the garage. That was when fans out in the walking areas finally saw the jogging singer and the running child.
Anyone who had a kid themselves would know exactly what was happening right now. Every chance that the child got she would try and escape to try and go find her father whilst he did pre-race press.
Suddenly a brightly orange clad man jogged through the paddock and scooped up the giggling Maisie, "Why are you running away from your Mum?" Lando Norris questioned his first child.
"I was trying to find you!" the little girl exclaimed with even more giggling.
That is when Dannie finally caught up to them. She was clearly out of breath and not because of a lack of activity or strength, but rather the fact that she was six months pregnant with their second child.
Lando sighed before planting a kiss on his daughter's cheek before letting her distract herself with the hat that was formerly on top of his head, "I don't want you running like that, if you need someone to chase after her my dad would happily do it. You need to be relaxing." he spoke softly.
During her first pregnancy it was extremely obvious that Dannie had a problem with relaxing. Even more so it was obvious to the doctors that it would be hard to tell the woman to sit down and relax.
"They were busy." she breathed out while placing a hand on top of her stomach, "Everyone knows that she's your kid, I mean look at those curls." Dannie chuckled before running her hands through the lighter brown curls running down the girl's back.
It was true, Maisie Norris was almost the perfect mix of her two parents. She had her mother's eyes and smaller facial features but her father's skin and hair. When the first picture of the girl was posted to their social media, it being just a picture of her back not showing her face at all, the internet went absolutely crazy talking about how much she looked like both parents.
Lando shook his head again before glancing back and forth between his wife and his kid, "Well, let's go back to the garage so that you guys can watch Daddy win another championship!" he smirked when Maisie yelled out while raising her arms in the air.
