** Dannie's pov **

It was three days before the album release date. My socials were going completely crazy and I was gaining more and more followers as the days went on.

It was the week of the Singapore Grand Prix and Lando was super excited for the race. Late last night we were on facetime for hours just catching up with each other. Just from his facial expressions when he would talk about the race this Sunday it was obvious he couldn't wait for it to actually happen.

Sadly with everything happening with the album I couldn't go over there and support him. I honestly don't know the next time I would be able to.

"Dannie! C'mon lets go!" my manager yelled out from behind the dressing room door.

Oh that's right, I forgot to mention that I was currently back in the States. For the next week and a half I will be taping different appearances on talk shows. This afternoon I was going to be at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

I had been here many times over the course of my career so I was more than excited to catch up with the older man.

Letting out a slight breath I stood up from the stage chair readjusting my dress, "Okay, okay, I'm coming. The more you rush me the more likely I am going to trip in these boots!" I breathed out while hurrying out of the room.

"You've worn much taller heels than that before, calm down." Monica's voice muttered as we walked past other crew members.

Before I had a chance to respond to anything, the show's crew were ushering me towards the entrance area of the stage. Monica was standing right behind me messing with a few strands of hair, "Remember you can be as vague as you want to be about the Lando situation, alright? This is airing on release date so don't worry about that. You're going to be singing Animal Farm after your interview." she rambled out.

"I know, I know. Go relax and eat my snacks in the dressing room." I shooed her off quietly.

"Let's do this." I whispered encouragingly.

The usual round of applause echoed out through the iconic Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, before showing the show's host Stephen Colbert.
